This is the third time we have stayed at the Sugar Tree Inn, and each time it just gets better. You could not ask for friendlier hosts than Jeff and Becky. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to ensure that everything----from the excellent meals, and the very clean and cozy rooms, to the attentive service---is superb in every respect. They make you feel like you went to your grandmother's house in the country and were spoiled like an only and very special grandchild. We miss the Inn whenever we leave and when we return we feel refreshed and renewed by its scencic beauty, natural isolation and charming rooms.

We were drawn due to it's awesome view and rustic romantic Inn. It was lovely. However the road in and out is dangerous at best. We had trouble getting up the hill in our truck. When we commented on the stressful ride, we got an abrupt snide sounding "no one else has any trouble with it", however we heard several guests say the same thing. The Inn keeper answered all of our comments questions with abrupt snips that made us feel as though we were unwelcomed guests who were in the way. We have enjoyed much less beautiful and less comfortable Inns so much more due to their Inn keepers warm and welcoming attitude. We like to stay in places that make us feel like old friends not bothersome intruders. For the price, we will stay somewhere with a more "make yourself at home" feel.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the quiet solitude - no TV, just peaceful music and views. The breakfasts were among the best we have ever been served at a B&B. Everything was freshly prepared and the oatmeal was outstanding.

Our getaway to Sugar Tree Inn was perfect! The relaxing setting and gorgeous views were only exceeded by the unbelievable hummingbirds. This was our first B&B experience together and was a great success. We were not interested in any "frills" or any place too formal, and we were completely satisfied with the comfortable and rustic setting.Becky and Jeff are so hospitable but allowed us the quiet and solitude we sought. The inn is well kept and clean, and the Sugar Country room was so very comfortable. The bathrobes were a favorite indulgence! Our breakfast was delicious and oh so filling as we prepared to leave. We will definitely recommend the Sugar Tree to friends and hope to return some day!

I found this B&B on this website and booked one night. The hot tub overlooking the mountain sky is amazing - it made the stress of the work week melt away. I crawled into bed enjoying a crackling fire and then soon found the softest SOFTEST sheets ever! The food served is a more gourmet twist and I was hoping for more of a country-style breakfast. But the cookies in the cookie jar are delicious! Both Jeff and Becky were very welcoming. I will definately stay here again & again.
