The Miller House Bed and Breakfast Inn is a registered historic landmark, built in 1896 by T.J. Collins. Located directly across from the Mary Baldwin College campus at 210 North New Street, Staunton, our charming B&B is one of the area's best examples of chateauesque Victorian architecture. Step onto the wrap around porch and step back into history. Settle into a cozy rocker overlooking “the Queen City” and watch time go by... or choose an antique chair and relax in one of the four parlors, each with its own fireplace, decorated with elaborate carved woodwork... or retreat to your guest room, nestle into a plush bed adorned with fluffy pillows and take a nap... or curl up with a good book and cup of tea in the library... the decision is yours! We offer 5 elegant guest rooms, each with their own private bath. Additional amenities include wireless internet access, “state of the art” fire alarm system for your safety, and television room with a 52” Sony high definition television. For more information about the Miller House, call 540-886-3186. The owners, Ray and Pam Robbins Cubbage, are dedicated to creating memorable moments in Victorian surroundings. After her stay at the Miller House, Jean Tang, of the New York Daily News, described the house as a “19th century Victorian masterpiece….”

Miller House has been and remains the best B&B I've ever patronized. It's so good, in fact, my wife and I make special trips to Staunton from DC at least once per year mainly to stay here and go to the Blackfriars. Pam and Ray are exceptional hosts and Ray is an excellent chef. The breakfasts are seriously amazing. I hear rumor they're retiring in a few days, which is sad news for all of us who've come to love this place.

We stayed at the Miller House B&B for our anniverssary. The B&B was a beautiful place for the celebration. The Victorian styled house was nicely decorated proper for the era. Pam and Ray did a fantastic job preparing delicious breakfast. The house was conveniently located just a few blocks from places to shop, dine and entertainment.

    Delightful B & B

In the heart of historic Staunton, an easy walk to the Blackfriar's Theater, the Miller House is an elegant reminder of the architectural glories of this lovely Virginia city. The Innkeepers are as unique and special as the house, lovely people who make everyone feel an honored guest. Certainly a B&B my wife and I would return to as often as we could.

This is an absolutely gorgeous home in downtown Staunton. Within easy walking distance to the main historic and business district. Ray and Pam are gracious hosts and the breakfast and afternoon tea are excellent. Pam even made special gluten free cookies on Saturday afternoon. We would definitely recommend the Miller House to friends and will stay again next time we are in Staunton.
