Long View Gallery, featuring outstanding contemporary artists, is just a stroll away. Savour freshly made breakfast/lunch food, breads and pastries from the Apple Hill Bakery. Enjoy lunch/dinner or Sunday brunch at the Thornton River Grille in Sperryville. Rudy's pizza is excellent!

      The House on Water Street is a small, family business. You rent the entire house and are the only guests, whether you a one couple, or a group of six. Therefore, cancellations affect us significantly. If you cancel your reservation at least fourteen (14) days before your scheduled arrival, we'll be happy to refund your deposit, less a $25 handling fee. If you cancel less than fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival and we are able to re-book your room, we'll also refund your deposit, less a $25 handling fee. We'll make every effort to re-book your room, but in the event we cannot, you are responsible for the full amount of your reservation.
