The Mayhurst Dining Room.  Seats 32.  Frequently used for Luncheons, Rehearsal Dinners, Small Receptions and, of course, breakfast. A warm comfortable room with a beautiful fireplace with a carved wood mantel.Mayhursts main entrance Parlor (There are Three Parlors).  A great gathering spot.  Also used for small wedding ceremonies (seats 40).  General A.P. Hill's daughter, Lucy Lee was christened here in May, 1863.  Her Godfater, who held her during the ceremony, was Robert E. Lee.
Mayhurst Verandah.  Seats 30+.  A favorite spot for evening wine and cheese, luncheons, breakfast, or just for talking, reading and relaxation.The "Southern Charm" room.  Very large bedroom, king bed, wood burning fireplace and a two person Jacuzzi.  Formally the Mayhurst Guest Room.  General "Stonewall" Jackson stayed here.
The Mayhurst Patio.  The Verandah overlooks our large Patio which is surrounded with flowers.  A beautifully peaceful breakfast spot that is frequently used for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and cocktails.One of the many brides who choose Mayhurst for her wedding destination. Mayhurst has hosted weddings and receptions for 6 to 300 guests.
The unique spirial staircase ascends all four stories at Mayhurst and is an example of the Italianite infludence on the victorian architecture.The Mayhurst Library is the favoite location for evening wine, soft drinks, cheese and snacks.  The original Italian Marble fireplace keeps the room toasty warm on cold winter nights.  The shelves contain both fiction and non-fiction works and an  extensive Civil War collection.
The Madison Room - formaerly the Master Suite, now a luxurious room with king bed, Italian Marble gas fireplace, and full bath with a huge clawfoot soaking tub.
