We stayed only one night but wished it could have been longer. Mrs. Fox welcomed us warmly despite our arrival before check-in, and showed us to our room and demonstrated the controls. The Blue Room had plenty of space, sitting areas, elegant furnishings & decor, and a private bathroom. That evening we dined in the Garden Cafe and was treated to a delicious meal with superb wine. The chef visited our table afterwards to check in that everything was to our liking. I was amazed the next morning to receive a menu with gourmet breakfast selections, instead of the usual pre-made assortment to choose from. The chef was happy to accommodate my special request for Baked Alaska, which I managed to pack in somewhere after all the wonderful food. Upon our departure, Mrs. Fox guided us to an art exhibition going on in town where we bought some impressive local artwork. We will definitely return with a longer stay planned.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn & Garden Cafe for just one night on our way to the OBX and both the B&B and restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The room, while small, was clean and comfortable and a great value for the price. The real surprise was the beautiful restaurant downstairs where we had an excellent dinner. This was followed the next morning by what may have been the best breakfast I've ever had (and included in the price of the room!). The staff were all friendly, gracious and accommodating. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn't longer.

Well needed get away. Very charming and attentive staff. Food was first class. The room was equipped with everything we needed, plus. Rainy, so not able to enjoy the outside seating area and fire pit, but nice to have that option. It wasn't as close to the downtown area but parking wasn't a problem. Would recommend!

We found this charming B & B after a disappointing stay at a hotel. Sandra was a wonderful hostess, anticipating our needs before we did! Our room was very comfortable and well-appointed. At breakfast the next morning, the fruit cup and homemade cherry filled breakfast roll were outstanding!

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is unmatched. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hostess was pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety to choose from. The portion sizes did prevent me from earning a "Clean Plate Award"!

We were greeted warmly by the Inn hostess, Sandra, who showed us to our spacious yet cozy room. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was fabulous. Sandra served us and no little detail was overlooked. The taste of the food was over the top and the service was second to none. The next two mornings we had the most fantastic breakfast ever. The Café Benedict with crab cakes was so awesome that I ordered it two mornings in a row. I highly recommend this wonderful Bed & Breakfast.

Sandra was a fabulous hostess. Upon our check-in, she spent time with us giving us information about what there was to do while in the area. We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful weekend there. The room was clean and comfortable. Sandra has provided extra amenities that hotels either don’t provide or charge additional costs for. We ate dinner at the B&B our first evening and were VERY impressed with the quality of food. My husband ordered the steak and felt it tasted better than some he has eaten at steak restaurants. We were equally impressed with her breakfasts. Each breakfast is served with fresh fruit and a bakery item in addition to your ordered choice. Sandra defiantly spoils her guests! We look forward to returning again in the future!
