The Huffman House, a restored historic farmhouse,with it's 61 acres of streams, pastures, barns, farm animals and abundant wildlife, offers guests the rich history, romance and extraordinary experience of peaceful country living, as it was in the late 1800's.
You'll never guess you are only 20 minutes from Blacksburg, home of Virginia Tech and all the conveniences of the modern world.
Hike the nearby Appalachian Trail, read your favorite book on the old front porch swing or let Ron and Carol introduce you to their sheep, Haflinger Horses, llamas, donkeys, turkeys, ducks, geese, dogs and cats!

West on Rte 460 toward Blacksburg & WV
Travel 18 miles on 460 West, pass Blacksburg. At the bottom of the 2nd small mountain, turn right on Rte 42 East.
Go 7.1 miles to old town of Huffman (Green town sign on right). See big red barn and large white farmhouse. Turn right into our drive - Huffman Store Dr. - Nearest major airport: Roanoke, VA (ROA) 50 miles

The "Tenant House" at our other farm holds 6 people. The bedroom has a queen bed and bunk bed and the living room, a pull out sofa. There is a fully stocked kitchen, a deck with a grill and a front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing. Breakfast is provided (you cook it)for the first two mornings of your stay.

Policies - Minimum stay required (Only on special weekends ie: Tech Graduation, football, parents weekend)
- Smoking is allowed outside only
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (Children must sleep through the night.)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted
- Deposit amount required (A one day stay requires a deposit of half of the total amount.
Two or more days requires a deposit of the first nights total.)
- Check in time is 3 PM and Check out time is 11 AM
- Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to your stay for a full refund. Within the 2 weeks, there will be a $25 processing fee. EXCEPTIONS: Special weekends (Tech graduation, football, parents weekend) require a one month in advance cancellation for a full refund. NOTE: Departures prior to your check-out date will not result in a refund. We will issue a voucher for the remainder of your original stay for you to use at a later date. - Accepted by the following agencies:

Ron raises Angus Cows, Hair Sheep & Haflinger Horses. He loves animals and also has llamas, donkeys, Scottish Highland Cows, duck, geese, chickens, turkeys, dogs & cats!
Carol is a birder, reader and loves to cook and entertain.
We both hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1999 and still love to day hike. - The innkeepers speak: English
