    Great getaway from DC

    Stayed at Piney Hill for a much needed 2-night solo retreat. Hank and Wiley were great hosts and very welcoming. Breakfasts were outstanding. Nice country style breakfast but not at all heavy. They also were great guides for hiking plans.

    Priceless Getaway

    From the moment we got there until the moment we left, we felt as if we were the center of Wiley and Hank's attention. They provided excellent directions, insight, and review of the area. They cooked delicious hearty breakfasts and scrumptious desserts. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was homey. The Rosebud Cottage is a great bang for your buck. It includes a king size bed, kitchenette, full bath, private room separate from house, and access to the hot tub. Overall, our stay was outstanding and the memories we made were priceless.     Reservation Policy

    • Check In: 3:00    Check Out: 11:00

    • Minimum Stay: A 2 night minimum on weekends is required for ALL rooms

    • Deposit Amount Required: A deposit equal to a 1 night stay may be applied when reservation is made.

    • Cancellations: A $25.00 service charge per room will be applied to all cancellations. Due to limited availability which requires us to turn guests away once a room is blocked out, cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. Holidays and Fall season cancellations received less than 14 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. We will not attempt to rebook your room should you cancel your reservation on the day of your arrival. No Shows, that is not notifying us at all, will be charged the entire reservation price. If a reservation is cut short you will be charged 50% per day for each remaining day of your reservation, excluding Holidays and Fall Season where you will be charged the entire amount of your reserved stay. All cancellations must be received by phone.

    We Hit a Bullseye!

    We took a shot in the dark when we went on line and picked Piney Hill B&B. To our surprise we hit a bullseye!. Everything was great! Wiley and Hank did an outstanding job making us feel at home. The historical home was beautiful and the food outstanding! Next time we wil ride the Harley! Thanks guys!

    Great B&B

    Hank and Wiley run a first class B&B where attention to detail and their friendliness make you feel both right at home and a special guest. My wife and I (experienced B&Bers) thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay there and give this B&B our highest recommendation. The decor is country charm and the B&B is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in an agricultural area. The breakfast's are gourmet and the kitchen is often filled with the best aromas. A real treat!

    Wonderful Relaxing Weekend

    Hank and Wiley were wonderful hosts. The house was beautifully decorated, inviting, and relaxing. The hot tub under the stars was a plus with a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding us. They have thought of every detail. They arranged for a couples massage right there at the site. The breakfasts were delicious. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great weekend. We will go back.

    My fiancee and I were looking for somewhere different to go. He had never been to Luray Caverns before and so we started looking in the area. We came across Piney Hill B&B and they happened to have just one room vacant for the weekend we were going. This was going to also be our first weekend as an engaged couple. We had a lot of preconceived notions about staying at a B&B and we were very nervous. When we got there our preconceived notions went away almost immediately! The next morning when we sat down for the most amazing breakfast I've ever had we knew we had been very wrong about the B&B scene or at least this one! We had the most perfect weekend imaginable and a lot of that had to do with Wiley and Hank. They had amazing suggestions for what to do for the weekend and they sent out an email in advance to us with these. They went above and beyond in every instance. They are both truly amazing people and amazing hosts! If only they could do our wedding!!
