Orchard House B&B - Where friends become family.™ A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Orchard House B&B. Built in 1874, it was the homestead for the local apple orchards for many years. Upon arrival, relax in a rocking chair on the front porch with a glass of lemonade or iced tea and enjoy fresh baked cookies. Take a romantic stroll around our picturesque 12-acre Victorian farmhouse. Revisit your youth by swinging from an old oak or skipping rocks on the pond. Doze off in a hammock or take a dip in the Pool (in season). Nestled in the core of the Virginia countryside, we are surrounded by the breath-taking Blue Ridge Mountains, yet only a short drive away from the arts & entertainment of downtown Charlottesville. Regardless of what you do at the Orchard House B&B, you are sure to enjoy good food, experience great hospitality and ensure lasting memories.

5 out of 5Lovely stay!

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, spotless rooms. Richard and Deb are the ultimate host and hostess - they always make sure you have everything you need.. The food is wonderful! Our quilting group uses this location for our quilt retreat and it is great! Sometime I want to come and take advantage of the winery tour they offer.

Deb and Richard really made our recent short stay memorable. We stayed at the Farm House so we did not get a chance to see/experience the main house but it was wonderful regardless. The house/room is quaint and quiet and they do a great job stocking the kitchen with all of the necessities to get you started for the day. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a fabulous overnight stay at Orchard House. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were attentive without being intrusive and the accommodation was quite superior. Breakfast was unique - little toast and egg boats. Yummy and generous portions. This is a beautiful old house and would make an ideal base for touring the area. Would strongly recommend Orchard House.

My husband Scott and I stayed for 2 nights and took advantage of Richard's wine tour. The wine tour was a good value going to 4 wineries with a packed lunch and Richard's class before hand. The rooms were cozy and the breakfast was plentiful. I recommend staying at the Orchard House if you are in the area. You will be happy with your decision.

The Orchard House is in a very convenient location, central to what we wanted to do. The immediate, nearby services are adequate. The B&B hosts were helpful in enhancing our knowledge of the amazing surrounding area and provided excellent directional cards to popular locations. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy.

My wife and I stayed in the Apple Farm House for a one-night stay. It was very nice, as we were the only guests in the house for that evening. The place was very clean and cozy. Although the Farm House doesn't have the full-serve hot breakfast like the main house, it worked out well for us, as we needed to get in and out relatively quickly, since we were attending a wedding in the area. We do hope to come back at some point in the future and stay at the main house. This is a great place to relax and get away for a weekend!
4.8 out of 5A Great Place to Stay. Will go back anytime.
