First getaway for my wife and I in years. We visited in October 2014 while the leaves were making their change. Picked Harmony Hill for its proximity to "Walton Mountain" and to Charlottesville. The home exceeded our expectations as did the hospitality. This was only the second time we stayed at a B&B and were so happy that we decided to give Harmony Hill a try. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were more than accommodating when we requested last minute to change our breakfast time. Highly recommend here as a place to getaway and relax and enjoy what this part of Virginia has to offer.

This truly is a home away from home. Except its more relaxing, tranquil, and beautiful! I'd done quite a bit a research when I was looking for a B & B to go to, and I picked this one because of its reviews and of course, it looked beautiful. Well...those things STILL didn't do the real thing justice. It was better than we could've imagined. I honestly felt like a new and refreshed person when we left, which we did not want to do. Jay and Wendie were the BEST! The are very welcoming, down to earth, and were so accommodating! They asked about our comfort level, food allergies, and recommended the best restaurant. The food was great and everything was so clean as well. The room was perfect and we can't wait to go back!! If I tried, I couldn't think of one complaint! :-)

Jay & Wendie were FABULOUS! Took great care of us. The gorgeous house was EXTREMELY clean. We were very happy with the top notch hospitality, absolutely delicious breakfasts, and good company! We would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone wanting to get away and relax a bit. You will not be disappointed! We cannot wait to return and stay again :)

This was my first experience at a B&B and I couldn't have asked for more. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in the Fermata Room. The room was spacious and included a nice king size bed, closet, love seat, wine cooler, electric fireplace and flat screen TV. (The Jacuzzi tub was a nice plus too) Jay and Wendy we're very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed (snacks, soda/bottled water, huge dvd collection, and all the fixings at breakfast). We really felt welcomed you will not be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I chose Harmony Hill as a spontaneous weekend getaway B&B in the Virginia wine-country and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Wendie and Jay were exceptional hosts. They gave us useful tips for the area, cooked super tasty breakfasts, and always inquired about our day when we made it back in the evening. They even went out of their way to ask us about any dietary restrictions we might have (peanuts, beef, gluten) and totally obliged! Wendie even had homemade gluten-free brownies ready for us when we arrived. Mindful and thoughtful, to the T. The room was clean (as was the rest of the house), the land was quite serene, it was pretty easy to access (we drove a hybrid sedan so no dirt roads), and the location was very convenient with regard to the wineries/meadery/breweries. Another reviewer mentioned that the walls were too thin, but this wasn't our experience. We could hear the folks in the morning for breakfast before we went down (we were on the 2nd floor) but no sound issues with the other adjacent rooms or ones down the hall. All in all, a truly memorable time. Don't pass up Harmony Hill!

Harmony Hill exceeded my expectations. The warmth of the house along with the warmth of Jay and Wendie made our weekend in Charlottesville very special. Wendie is such delight, she kept us on our lifestyle change by going out of her way to make yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and turkey bacon. Thank you Wendie and Jay!

Jay & Wendie of Harmony Hill are personable, easy-going, and hard-working. Homemade breakfast was delicious and their recommendations for dining were perfect. We enjoyed staying there and will be back. We had so many activities planned we didn't take as much advantage of the beautiful gazebo and property right there; we did feel right at home and had our every need met. We recommend this terrific B&B.

We liked both the convenience and the peacefulness of this rural retreat…close enough to the highway, yet tucked away in a natural setting. A lot of attention to detail and effort has gone into making Harmony Hill a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed bicycling and touring the area.
