The Hope and Glory Inn
Tatler-Cunard Travel Guide rates it as one of the “101Best Hotels in the World”. Travel + Leisure ranks it one of this country’s “30 Great Inns”. American Historic Inns names it one of the “Top Ten Most Romantic Inns”. Frommer’s Travel Guide awards it Three Stars – its highest rating in its two most recent editions - 6th and 7th. Southern Living calls Hope and Glory "fantastic" and named it one of their four “Favorite Romantic Getaways”. Coastal Living Magazine calls it “whimsical, extravagantly romantic… and guaranteed to make you smile”. Couples escape. Families unite. Brides and grooms tie the knot here and remember year after year. Corporations retreat here. The Kellogg Foundation, Pfizer Corporation, and Proctor and Gamble chose us this past year. Historic schoolhouse eclectically styled. Classic vessels, hip restaurant, trendy waterfront resort town full of chic shops and 637 endearing people. Three upscale golf courses and destination spa. Cruise or sail onto the water with your own private Captain aboard our authentic Chesapeake Bay “dead rise”, the Faded Glory. Dine in style at Trick Dog Café, our truly sensational and hip sister restaurant described by the New York Post as “hands down the best” in the area “and perhaps the en tire state”. The Washington Times says “it deserves a Michelin Star”.
