Our family booked the entire Ranch for my daughter's October wedding weekend from the rehearsal dinner, outside wedding and indoor reception. Everything was wonderful. I had high expectations and was not disappointed. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, a few have fireplaces and private bathrooms. The Inn was very well kept and in keeping with the decor of the period to a large degree. It is simply decorated and not overdone in any way but what matters is definitely there for you. We enjoyed champagne in our room, were in a private wing with our own staircase. My only criticism is that the noise in the morning from the kitchen staff talking came early and carried to our room which was directly over it. Beyond that, we all felt they did an excellent job of making a wedding an affair to remember. The food was superb, the staff willing and able to meet any need we had and with the large family group we had this was no easy task. The surrounding scenery and local wineries add to the things to do list of those who want something other than relaxation. Additionally, Warrenton is about 12 miles away and a day can be made wandering the shops there or taking a drive toward Front Royal and the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. I would highly recommend this for a family event, wedding, romantic getaway, etc.
