La Vista Plantation
1838 Classical Revival country home nestled amidst ancient tulip poplars, cedars and hollies, surrounded by pastures, woods and fields. Close to historic Fredericksburg, but in a quiet, rural setting, the house retains its original charm with intricate acorn and oak leaf moldings, high ceilings, wide pine floors and two story front portico. Guests may choose a spacious 2 bedroom Plantation kitchen Suite or a huge formal room with king mahogany rice carved 4-poster bed and Empire furniture. Both feature working fireplaces and private ensuite baths and come with full brown egg breakfasts from resident hens.
