As you step inside you will notice the Cottage features custom window treatments and coordinated upholstery. Your own cozy living room features cable TV, VCR, and DVD player. Bring your movies or enjoy our limited collection. Cool central air or warm gas heat will make your stay comfortable anytime you visit.
Breakfast cereals, breads and one quart of fresh milk along with a selection of teas and coffee are available for your breakfast dining.
The living room adjoins a full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, full sized range and refridgerator. The Cottage has been completely renovated and redecorated to meet your every need and delight your senses.
A comfortable king bed with a view to the water will sooth you. The bed and bath feature quality linens to pamper our guests. Faux wallpaper custom spreads, pillows and window treatments all add to the ambiance of your bedroom. Your private bath with shower is located adjacent to your bedroom.
A beautiful sunroom is located adjacent to your bedroom. Perfect for morning coffee and a book. Enjoy this bright and airy porch and watch the sunset with a special person.
The Cottage features a nice selection of books for your enjoyment during your stay.
Browse through tourist information on the area or watch the wildlife and birds from the climate controlled comfort of the porch. (Binoculars provided) The beauty and peace of the River will infuse tranquility.

Ivy Cottage is a charming upscale guest Cottage for two located near the towns of Urbana, Deltaville, Mathews and Gloucester and just 40 minutes from Williamsburg. Upon your arrival you will find complimentary sweet bread or cookies. We furnish complimentary cereals, coffee and teas plus one quart fresh milk for your breakfast. The Cottage is eight hundred square feet so its the perfect size for a getaway for two. A private pier is available for your boat. We have a small library with nice books, magazines and information on the area. Enjoy sunsets from a beautiful year around porch. I stayed here once last year during the Stingray Point Regatta and it is an awesome place to relax, refresh and enjoy the peace and quiet after a day of competitive sailing out of Deltaville. Easy access, arrival and departure. The furnishings and amenities are first class. Everything you could ask for -- and more. Suzanne is a treat to do business with.Enjoyed it so much, I'm making reservations for two weekends this year!

What a wonderful place to escape the city and melt into the slow paced country life! This charming cottage has all the ammenities of home without all the duties. Cable TV, DVD player, stereo, full kitchen with set-up make this the perfect getaway. For those who are not sure about a B&B, this is a great way to try it out because the house is completely YOURS ALONE!
