Edith Palmer's Country Inn was established in a Victorian home built in 1863, before Nevada began a state. Edith Palmer, an internationally renowned chef, started the Inn after she bought the property in 1948. In the year 2000, current owners Pat and Leisa Findley began to return the Inn to it's original floor plan. This lead to the discovery of the original use of the rock room to the rear of the property, an 1863 Cider Factory. These two buildings are joined by two adjacent Victorian Houses to complete the property. An additional 1870's house will soon become part of the inn.
