    Welcome to our Four Diamond award-winning historic Inn located in the historic town of Christiansburg, VA, just two miles off I-81, six miles from Virginia Tech and Radford University. The Oaks Victorian Inn is the only Select Registry Bed & Breakfast in the Mid-Atlantic region to receive the prestigious Four Diamond Award for 18 consecutive years. Our Queen Anne Victorian sits atop the town's highest hill. Near Roanoke, both are nestled in the beautiful mountain highlands of southwest Virginia. Warm hospitality, comfortable, relaxed elegance and memorable breakfasts are the hallmark of The Oaks. Opened as an inn in 1989, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, the wrap-around porch, perennial garden, complete with gazebo, and fish pond offers an endless fascination to guests from around the world. Beautiful landscaping provides an ever-changing backdrop for the five historic oak trees, one of which is believed to be one of the largest white oak trees in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Guests will find every amenity- soft, luxurious linens, down comforters, fireplaces, claw-foot tubs, Jacuzzis, an interesting library, cable TV, DVD/CD, private telephones, high speed Internet access and in room refrigerators with complimentary beverages.     Bernie and Linda know how to do everything to make guests comfortable, from delicious food to genuine hospitality. Their home is beautiful and filled with beauty, too. Like a perfectly executed double play, they make the difficult look easy. We hope to return soon.

    PERFECT!!!

    My husband and I stayed at The Oaks Victorian Inn two nights over New Years for our 20th wedding anniversary. There is only one word to describe our stay . . . PERFECT! What a gorgeous Inn. The accommodations and food could not have been better and Bernie & Linda are absolutely the cutest Innkeepers around! ;-) We have actually stayed in at The Oaks on two occasions in two different rooms and both were lovely. This trip, we stayed in the Sir Christopher's Chamber which was on the first floor which saved climbing steps with luggage, etc. We also loved the Julia Pierce Room when we stayed previously. Don't think you could go wrong with any room at the Oaks.

    Lovely and cozy!

    My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on our way down from New Jersey to visit family in South Carolina. Can't beat the location, which is how we found it, but to discover such a lovely place was a wonderful surprise and experience.

    Second floor. Beautiful Queen Victorian bed, hand-painted slate fireplace with gas logs, five-turret window, Victorian furnishings. This room is named after the wife of Major W.L. Pierce who built the Oaks. Seven Pierce offspring were conceived and born here. Decorated in soft green and peach floral this room has a large bath and Jacuzzi for 2, shower, vanity, mini stocked refrigerator, cable TV, VCR/DVD/CD players and high speed Internet acesss.

    Major Pierce

    A Very Merry Christmas!

    My wife and I were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Christianburg, Virginia, at the lovely Oaks Victorian Inn. We felt like we were visiting family due to our warm and caring hosts, Linda and Bernie Wurtzburger. The Inn is just beautiful, every room is a delight; the food was superb! Just a few minutes from I-81, I highly recommend this very special Bed and Breakfast. We will most definitely return. Bill and Maureen McKenna

    Getaway long weekend!

    We stayed at The Oaks Victorian Inn while visiting my daughter at Vet School. We could not have asked for a more lovely place to stay. The Inn is peaceful housing beautiful antiques, impeccably decorated and maintained and most of all comfortable, warm and welcoming. Bernie and Linda are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and this one was the most accomodating. The food was delicious, sherry and homemade cookies every day. Attention is paid to every detail at the Inn. Edie, the housekeeper keeps the rooms fresh and spotless. We will definitely be staying again.
