Picketts Harbor B&B
Pickett's Harbor Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located at the southern most tip of the Delmarva Peninsula and is four miles north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. It is the perfect spot to enjoy 27 acres of Chesapeake Bay's private beach on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Come and see for yourself what Mid-Atlantic Country Magazine calls "the wonders and mysteries of a beach less traveled." Each guest can delight in a room overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The lovely porch has a spectacular view as well. One entire wing of the house has a private entrance. Cozy queen-sized beds, private baths, suites, antique-filled rooms, and central air conditioning are just a few treats you can expect while staying at Pickett's Harbor B&B. A full country breakfast is served on the porch, in the country kitchen or in the 18th-century style dining room, all overlooking the Bay. Beachcombers will linger on the acres of private beach to watch the spectacular sunsets, and nature lovers will thrill to the Chesapeake Bay's blue herons, ospreys, and shore birds, which abound in this private, peaceful area. Nearby attractions include tennis courts and golf courses, antique shops and flea markets, Wildlife Refuge, Kiptopeake State Park and Nature Conservancy Headquarters, and Turner's Bronze Foundry and Gallery. Gift certificates are available.
