A perfect hostess, who makes you feel right at home, especially when the weather is rotten, and a wonderful (and exceedingly well trained) dog. The food was ample and delicious. One of our best B&B experiences. read more

Review The Lost Dog Bed & Breakfast, Berryville, VA

Photo Album

The Lost Dog has five mature dogwood trees that are their prettiest in early May.Breakfast on our Four Season Sun Porch will delight all your senses and start the day of adventure in the Shenandoah Valley.
Breakfast in our dining room is a great way to begin the day's adventures. We offer a full country breakfast and with advance notice will prepare foods for your specific diet requirements.Virginia's room has just been decorated with arched cornices on the three windows which echo the arched furniture and door to the private bathroom. This lovely room is always the first to be reserved by couples who enjoy the double whirlpool tub.
All three of the guest rooms feature private bathrooms, but Virginia's room offers a jetted tub big enough for two. "You can get very clean in 125 gallons of water."Annie's room shows off it's cozy blue and white charm, with oriental carpet over hard wood pine floors, and beyond the door is the private bathroom. Not shown in this photo is a seating area, closet and TV.
Chris' spacious room is sunny and features a working fireplace. The queen size bed and coordinating twin day bed offer comfortable accommodations in a very pleasant setting. The private bathroom is only a step or two out the door, and the fireplace is a favorite feature. The Bay window in our parlor is such a nice sunny place to talk or read. You'll step back in time while you enjoy it's peace.
Our gardens are drenched in pink late April and May. But other months it is blooming in yellows, white, purple or orange. Something is blooming March - October.
