The Maple Room Climb a winding staircase tucked in a turret to this spacious and inviting tan room featuring a full-size Brass Bed as well as a large private bathroom with a whirlpool tub. (No Shower) The bed is dressed in comfortable cotton and a maple-leaf pattern quilt. The Maple Room offers a comfortable lving room area with a pull out sofa and good views of (what else?) Longacre’s maple tree. The Maple room can adjoin to the Mint room.
The Mint Room This soothing sage green room is spacious and welcoming. Step up to a Queen Size 4 Poster Bed or read a book in the Lincoln Rocker. Windows offer views of the grounds and boxwoods. The Mint room has its' own private full bathroom and can adjoing to the Maple Room.
The Manor Room This large guestroom features a fireplace and spacious sitting area with a chaise lounge, dresser and chester drawers. Their is a king size canopy bed, a vintage tile bathroom and a benched window seat offering a nice view of the front yard and our infamous Magnolia tree.
The Magnolia Room This room is very spacious and airy. It is located the main floor and has a queen sized bed, a lovely fireplace, a full private bathroom, and french doors that lead out to a stone terrace and boxwood courtyard. This room also has a magnificent view of Longacre's breathtaking Magnolia tree and a large sitting area.
Guest Living Room
Perfect for Weddings!! The fountain courtyard can accommodate up to a 200 seated dinner party and can be tented. Outside catering and decoration required however we have the perfect recommendations
Carriage House entrance and patio. Large newer separate unit from the house, lofted bedroom has 2 full size beds. Air mattress available. Full kitchen, living and dining room, laundry and adjoins indoor pool. Patio area for grilling.

Our largest and most spacious room featuring 2 bedrooms and a full bath decorated in Toile and sublte splashes of Lemon with a whirpool tub and double sinks. The Master bedroom offers a ornate wooden Maisonette Suite, Queen bed and matching armiore. The second bedroom has a comfortable full bed perfect for the extra family or friends traveling in your party. This Suite offers a nice view of Longacre's boxwood gardens

Dana was very accomodating in our last minute reservation. Just what we needed for quiet and relaxation. The home and grounds were beautiful and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

It's difficult to be concise about Longacre: there is so much to rave about. In addition to being a beautiful Tudor-style home with a lovely garden and grounds, it's conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Appomattox, where there are a great many attractions, not the least of which is the site famous for bringing the Civil war to an end and beginning the process of re-uniting our country. Dana Mayberry and her mom, Renee, have created a comfortable, friendly atmosphere in a truly beautiful place, regardless of which room you stay. For many reasons, and all of them the right reasons, put Longacre at the top of your list and enjoy Dana and Renee's hospitality and accommodations.

We had a very nice stay at Longacre. The innkeepers were very friendly and full of information. The breakfast was great as well. The reason for only giving "service" three was because we needed a bucket of ice and there was no one to get it for us and the kitchen was locked.

The Longacre B&B is a beautiful turn-of-the-century home! It was a convenient location for visiting the historical Appomattox Courthouse village where General Lee surrendered. The house and the grounds have been well-maintained by the proprietor and her family. The warm welcome and generous, hospitable service we received while there could not have been better.

Dana and Renee are so kind and hospitable. The inn is lovely and the rooms quite nice. The beds are awesome, which is really important when you travel every week! The house is lovely and comfortable and was a great change from your typical Hilton.

Staying with Jillian and David and the lovely people of Apamatox was a peaceful retreat for us both going and coming on a long car trip. We felt so lucky, to meet such lovely people, be treated as family, and sleep in their beautiful home. Appomatix is a sweet respite...and the famous village where peace was finally made is nearby.

The grounds blew us away. We really felt like we were back in England when we pulled up the brick drive. What a beautiful house and the inn keepers made us feel so welcome. Make sure you take a dip in the indoor pool. What a nice surprise.
