We are so glad we discovered this gem! It was our 36th anniversary, so we wanted our accomodations to be very special. Summerfield Inn was everything and more we imaged a b&b would be. We recommend you find any reason you can to visit there!

We invite you to explore our elegant 1920's era home centrally located in Abingdon's Historic District. The open sitting areas and library are wonderful spaces to enjoy a lifelong collection of European and American antiques. A large wrap-around porch with swing and rocking chairs draws you back outside to relax and enjoy the gardens. Walk to the Barter theatre, downtown shops, restaurants or the Virginia Creeper Trail. Summerfield Inn offers seven bedrooms, all with private baths, including three ground-level rooms in the Carriage House. BBAV Inspected & Approved.Azalea Guestroom- The azalea pink walls glow against the brass and porcelain queen size bed and the antique mahogany furnishings. The room duplicates the scene in the print "Sweet Sixteen" hanging over the velvet loveseat. Shower bath.
Dogwood Guestroom- Tuck your dressing gown into the oversized antique cherry armoire. Relax on the loveseat or pewter iron queen size bed as you enjoy the print of "Granny's Attic". Whirlpool/shower bath.Rose Guestroom- A mini-suite featuring a cherry four-poster king size bed, a love seat, wing chair and desk. The bath is spacious with two-person whirlpool, a separate shower, and double vanity.
