The Hillcrest Guest House, St. John US Virgin Islands is located on top a hill overlooking Cruz Bay, St. John harbor. It was built by the Hall Family in 1966; and is still owned by a family member.

A guest defined the facilities as the "Perfect place to feel human again."

Six [6] Suites are available:
1. Front Suite-accommodates 1-2 people.

2. Orchid, Southern and Peaceful Retreat Suites-accommodates 1-4 people.

3. Tropical Garden Suite accommodates 1-4 people and is larger than the other suites.

4. Caribbean Ocean View Suite- accommodates 1-2 people.

Smaller suites have a kitchenette and large suites have a kitchen for preparing your meals, air conditioned for comfort, complimentary food menu for your enjoyment and beach equipment to have fun at the beach.

The nearest Airport is located on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Taxis are waiting to take you to Red Hook, St. Thomas, for you to get a Ferry Boat to St. John, US Virgin Islands.

The boat lands at Cruz Bay, St. John, where you will be picked up by the Manager. The boat cost $4.00 per person, each way. You may have to call from the pay phone on the dock, sometimes one is not allowed to stand more than 5 minutes for picking up guest. The ride to guest house is about 2 minutes. You can request a short 7 minute tour of Cruz Bay, ie. super markets, restaurants, etc.

I enjoy swimming and raising my 3 dogs and 1 cat. The dogs names are Gigi, Dora and Taj. My cats' name is Yum-Yum and she is Siamese. Animals do not have access to upstairs, near the suites. They remain downstairs on my level and apartment.
