Built near The Royal Wharf in the 1750’s for a Danish Doctor, one of St. Croix’s oldest buildings has been home to the Comanche Hotel since 1948. Today, Club Comanche is at the center of culture, tourism, business and government in the Virgin Islands’ historic town of Christiansted. The charming Comanche Hotel and Bridge House Guest Rooms and Suites have been lovingly restored and furnished with West Indian antiques and replicas. The twenty three uniquely clean and spacious rooms provide all modern amenities to our guests including free internet access. Walk across the Comanche Bridge from the Hotel to The Bar and Pool Deck and relax with a cocktail while enjoying the view of Christiansted Boardwalk. The hotel is less than a block from Government House and is easily recognizable by the Comanche Bridge over Strand Street that joins the Great House to the Pavilion Bar and Bridge House hotel rooms on the waterfront.

My husband and I stayed at the Club Comanche for our honeymoon almost 27 years ago. Until now, I thought that it might not be there anylonger. I'm very happy to see that it is! We stayed in the Mill, which came as a complete surprise to us. It is a round stone building all to itself with 3 stories and a deck on top right on the water. When we stayed there we were the envy of all the other guests, even those staying at the more expensive hotels. The room was always clean and the dinning was great. The staff were friendly and acomodating. Thanks for a great time!
