We are 2 seniors travelling for our first time to Vietnam from Canada. Many things in Asia are really new to us, but here at B & B Hanoi Hostel we felt at home & safe. We appreciated the western style shower, the elevator, & my husband was happy for a stand to put his suitcase on. Our room was basic, but totally comfortable..... but if you travel with those huge American style suitcases, you will have a problem. I liked the breakfast room which looks out on the lobby, & the clean, comfortable lobby has couches, TV & computers. What is exceptional is the service! Tony especially is high energy, works long hours, & does an amazing job of helping & caring for his clients. We were very thankful for his help when we found out we had arrived without our train ticket voucher to Sapa. He phoned the agency, which emailed him the voucher which he printed for us. He also relieved our stress ( making us laugh), & gave us guidance when 3 ATM machines rejected my husband's debit card! The only thing you should be aware of in Vietnam is that a beautiful restored building can be next door or across the street from a dilapidated building. When we arrived late on Halloween I was shocked at the neigh bourhood & chaotic atmosphere.... But that is part of the charm of the Old Quarters! Book in advance & get a room looking out on the street - very interesting! Traffic noise & congestion is unbelievable, so if you are a senior, consider earplugs. Would highly recommend B & B Hanoi Hostel.

The staff at B & B Hanoi Hostel helped me with the booking of day trips in Hanoi in terms of providing the most value for money package. The hostel was also a one stop station for most of your needs in Hanoi. Thanks to Tony, Nga and Steven . The room rates are very affordable as they range from 15to 23USD per night and the staff are glad to accomodate your room booking arrangements as you plan your overnight trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. Rooms are generally clean and breakfast is provided

Tony and the staff at B & B Hanoi Hostel make everybody's stay a pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble for them, from arranging airport pick-ups, tours, local orientation and brilliant hospitality. The addition of breakfast included and fruit, tea and coffee throughout the day are an added bonus.

Excellent! We stayed in B & B Hanoi Hostel for 4 nights in total. We also booked trips to Halong Bay and Sapa in the Hostel. Between the trips we could come back to the hostel, have a shower, eat something, etc. B & B Hanoi hostel was like a home to us during the 10 days we stayed in and around Hanoi. The hostel is very clean and the staff very friendly. The room was the best we had so far in our 2 months travelling through south east asia. We can highly recommend the hostel!
