This was a wonderful place to stay. The location at the edge of town is scenic and convenient. The inn and rooms were very clean and well-maintained. And the inn-keepers were friendly and helpful with tips for things to do. I would recommend this inn for anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our early March stay at the inn. Great hosts and superb breakfasts - blueberry oatmeal, banana bread French toast and a personalized mocha concoction each day! The common areas were very comfortable and homey and it was an easy drive to Mt. Snow. We would come back again.

We had a wonderful time! the Innkeepers, Patrick & Danny, were very gracious & attentive. Our room was very quaint and cozy. The dogs, Rook & Frankie were very friendly & a nice touch to making the Inn a family setting. The homemade cookies in the afternoon & the breakfast the next morning were both delicious.

We love the Wilmington Inn and Tavern! We stayed once last year and again this year, and will definitely be back next year. Patrick and Danny are awesome, the dogs are so friendly and great, I cannot suggest this place enough. Very close to Mt Snow, very close to great food and drinks. Highly highly suggested. Thanks for a great stay!

Our Wilmington Inn experience was wonderful - everything you'd expect from a quaint New England Inn. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. My husband skied while I stayed behind reading in the cozy lounge. Patrick couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He graciously kept the fire going and provided homemade cookies and cupcakes. Breakfast was also wonderful. The location in downtown Wilmington is also a big plus. We definitely will stay there again on our next trip to VT.

We've stayed at a couple of different places around Mount Snow but this is by the far the best. Welcoming and charming, the inn is beautifully appointed -- the guest rooms are tasteful and extremely comfortable, the common rooms have two (real) fireplaces, comfortable couches, and beautiful art. After a day of skiing, you can sit by the fire and read with complimentary hot cocoa, tea, coffee, and cookies, or play chess, pool, or other board games. The breakfast is phenomenal - a wide range of choices including omelets, frittatas, french toast, cooked and served in individual cast iron skillets. It is a short and easy walk into town to see the shops, and a 10-15 minute drive to Mt. Snow. Can't wait to return!

We've stayed here twice while skiing Mount Snow. It's conveniently located just a short (~15 minute) drive from the mountain. The service and breakfast are great. The rooms are very nice and clean. We enjoyed the whirlpool jacuzzi after long days on the slopes. The beds are also extremely luxurious and comfortable!!! We are trying to find the same comforter and pillows for our bed at home since we loved it so much! There is also a very cute and cozy common area on the ground level with a fireplace, pool table, darts, board games and a bar. The perfect place to stay on a Mt. Snow ski trip in my opinion!!!

Cast iron skillet frittata
We par cook three farm fresh eggs with grilled seasonal vegetables and transfer them once they start to firm to a hot buttery cast iron skillet mixing in a touch of heavy cream and place the skillet into an oven. The cream lightens the eggs and makes them fluff up. Once the middle is fully cooked we sprinkle cheese over top liberally and we finish the skillet in a broiler briefly to melt the cheese and lightly brown the top. As with all of our dishes this is served with your choice of crispy bacon or sausage patties and a choice of toast.
