Leave the cares of the world behind, relearn what it means to relax and reconnect, in one of our warm and welcoming guest rooms with private baths and attractive appointments. Our Traditional and Garden rooms are cozy and comfortable while our Enhanced rooms have all the amenities – fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, TVs with dvd players and valley-view balconies or garden-view decks. Luxurious but not ostentatious. Snuggle up before the fire or work a puzzle in one of our sitting rooms, curl up in the library with a good book. But whatever you choose, don’t rush. When you are ready, enjoy a cocktail in our snug little bar. Then move into our candlelit, romantic dining room for an “amazing” meal by Chef Todd Draper whose creative, modern American country cuisine changes with the seasons. Complete your dining experience with a wine selection from our Wine Spectator awarded list of New World Wines. And when you’ve been adequately pampered, venture out to sample the seasons: in winter, ski at some of Vermont’s best mountain resorts – Mount Snow five mintues down the road and Stratton and Bromley a short drive away. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides round out the winter activities. In the spring, smell the maple in the air as sugaring starts, watch our gardens grow and the green creep up the mountain. In summer, cast for trout, golf on championship courses, marvel at the Marlboro Music Festival, ride a bike down a mountain, or just laze by the pool. And in the fall... well, Mother Nature speaks for herself and always dazzles even the most jaded travelers. We are recognized by Conde Nast Traveler and Honeymoon magazine as a truly romantic getaway.

Ariane was so accommodating to us. We had to scramble for another venue for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner and she was there for us. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect for us. The chef worked with us on various concerns and everything was lovely!!! The dining room, the view, the service, and the food were all exceptional. We were completely satisfied and will certainly be going back again for a visit!!! Thank you, Ariane and Scott!

I spent a weekend at The Deerhill Inn in West Dover attending a wedding. It was a wonderful place. The innkeeper's/owners were outstanding as was the food. You leave feeling rested and rejuvenated, like you entered another world for a period of time. I will return and highly recommend it. I have been thinking about it and can't find a single fault with my experience.

My in-laws needed a place to change for the wedding. They went out of their way to make sure that we had any thing we needed.

Last night my office Christmas party dinner was held at the DeerHill Inn. The food was exceptional, the service great and the atmosphere was charming and warm. I never write reviews but was so pleasantly surprised by our evening I thought I needed to share. I did not stay in the Inn but by the rest of the expierence I could only assume an overnight there would also be outstanding as well. Thank you Ariane, Scott and Sofie and whoever was our chef, he is amazing!! Jacki M. Wilmington VT

My wife and I celebrated a quiet, romantic, and memorable 35th anniversary at this fantastic place. The location is gorgeous, but the people who run it and work there are what make it a superlative destination; each is warm and welcoming, efficient and friendly, competent and accommodating. They want you to have a great time, and work hard to make sure you do. We may even take up skiing again, just to stay there more often. Highest recommendation!
