We were blown away by the calm, nature, and incredible feeling of being taken care of at Weathersfield. Being able to enjoy the beds that swallow you up in comfort was just one - waking up to that tasty homemade breakfast was another. Warm homemade goodies in the afternoon slaked the hunger until the meal we came for....wow wow wow. The chef knows how to treat ingredients, so many of them local. The depth, liveliness, and surprise factor made us wish we'd come earlier on Friday. Coming from NYC, we gotta say the meal was delightful and four-star in every way. In our young days we did inns and B&Bs because they were less expensive than hotels. We moved away from them as our family grew. Now that it's shrinking we are discovering the new, give-em-privacy and spoil the guest style of innkeeping. We did some hiking and scouted out the ski mountains for our next getaway. Hopefully it will be soon, so leave the lights on! Thierry and Amy

Beautiful rooms with fireplaces and 2 person jacuzzi. Comfortable beds. Hosts are warm and gracious - during our (2nd) visit in the fall they brought sticks and marshmallows out to the fire pit on the gorgeous outdoor deck!

    The real thing.

This is a quintessential Vermont inn. From the hospitality to the rooms and food. Don't miss chef's tasting menu -- a culinary treat! Would highly recommend!

Recently we stayed at Weathersfield for about the 5th time - but the first time in the summer. Our six day visit couldn't have been more wonderful! David and Jane welcomed us like old friends and gave us a great package price for our stay, including 3 of Jason's wonderful dinners. His "chef's tasting menu" on our final night was superb, using predominantly locally grown and produced ingredients. We can't wait for our next opportunity to enjoy the warm atmosphere of Weathersfield!

    Amazing chef, great service!

Had rehearsal dinner here for our wedding. The food was unbelievable. The chef is completely amazing!!! We are already planning to go back for our anniversary.
