Phill and Alison went out of their way to make our stay exceed our expectations! We were given an upgrade on our room and were given excellent suggestions of where to hike, eat and take in all of what Vermont has to offer. We can hardly wait to come back in the winter! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Tucker Hill Inn is a charming place! Phil and Alison make you feel welcome and like a member of the family. The breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area.

We stayed five nights for skiing in the area and would return in a heartbeat. From the moment we contacted Alison and Phill, we had guidance about the various options to design our stay and split our time between Sugarbush (Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen) and Mad River Glen that suited our interests and timing best. When we arrived and found ourselves facing a -24 degree Monday and a decision not to ski that day, Alison volunteered to try to change our lift ticket package (which Sugarbush accommodated) and then told us about another option at Mad River Glen of which we had not been aware that worked out perfectly for us. The Inn itself is charming, the room more than comfortable (we received an unexpected upgrade because we were the only ones for a few days and the room we were moved to had separate heating). We peaked at the room we would have had and were sure we would have been just as comfortable and happy with it, as well. Breakfasts were as described positively by other reviewers. And, when we expressed preferences at the beginning of the week, they remembered and made the adjustments without asking us again. We also were extremely pleased with the location. Close to a number of restaurants (allo of whose menus were neatly in a binder in the lounge for easy reviewing) and literally five minutes (we timed it) to Mt. Ellen, maybe seven minutes to Mad River Glen and eight minutes to Lincoln Peak. We never stayed at an inn or B&B so close to the mountain at which we skied -- and we wouldn't change a thing about the inn or our stay.

We needed a quick stay to attend a function at Sugarbush and Tucker Hill was perfect. Alison is very friendly and attends to your needs promptly. Just know in the winter you need good winter tires for unexpected snowfall on the mountain. Room was very cozy and clean, and it was great to be able to lower the radiator heat on our own. Older place but didn't find it noisy. We would go back again and spend more time!
