Apple Hill Inn

Apple Hill Inn offers its guests the ultimate in hospitality. From the time you arrive until the time you depart your experience is Vermont at its very best. Bev and Andy are truly enjoying the intimacy of this smaller bed and breakfast after successfully running a larger established one for 15 years.

The charm of this Inn is the location high on a hill in the Green Mountains, overlooking the serpentine Ottaquechee River and waterfalls to as far as Mt. Smarts, 30 miles away in New Hampshire. It is a remote and pastoral location yet is completely convenient to all the area’s attractions. Apple Hill Inn is a bed and breakfast with a view as spectacular as its impeccable accommodations. Guests can visit with the owners enjoying an exchange of stories and humor, and as former guests have suggested, it is "a place to have privacy and is a romantic and intimate inn” as well.

Please inquire about meetings, weddings, and family retreats at the Apple Hill Inn!

Keepsake Room: In this room, the soft colors of blues and light greens frame the lovely queen size four poster canopy bed. It has an antique lace canopy and is dressed with imported linens, down comforter and down pillows. The view through the large picture window overlooks the rolling upper fields, and the colorful perennial gardens.Sunrise Room: This room is bright yellow with large picture windows that overlook the gardens and view, as far as thirty miles away. It is decorated with l8th century original antiques and oriental rugs. The curly maple four poster queen size bed, was handcrafted by a talented Vermont artisan from the Notheast Kingdom.
Paradise Room: This room is a spacious studio guestroom furnished with a pineapple carved queen size four poster bed, dressed in fine linens, downy pillows and down comforters. The décor is restful with traditional colonial blues and crisp whites, Williamsburg l8th century chests, and soft oriental rugs. The four large picture windows reassure our guests that the “hills are alive.” The perfect room for honeymooners, families, business travelers (long or short stays). Private entrance, television, dvd, stereo, internet access, private bath (with a view) and kitchenette.Tea Room: The tea room/solarium is our larger common room which adjoins our open deck (breakfasts are served here in warmer months). This glass walled room is a spectacular gathering place where guests can enjoy the spectacular scenery without going outside. Nightscapes of myriad of stars and constellations and whenever possible, the northern lights and the eclipse can be watched by evening tea or beverages by sitting on the cozy couches and chairs. This spacious common room is an added facility where catered afternoon teas, bridal brunches, weddings, meetings, and small dinner parties (catered by Beverlee the owner/innkeeper) have been enjoyed in the past and available for future requests.
