The perfect gift for every occasion

  • Carol takes great pride in her gardens which offer a rich floralarray of color and texture. Lupine's thrive in our mountain enviroment and offer a spendid show in the second half of June in addition to ever changing waves of wildflowers over the summer & fall. The Vermont Symphony included Crisanver House in its annual Rutland area garden tour.
Refresh yourself in our 20x40 pool surrounded by Vermont slate with six white French chaise lounges for sun bathing in our famously fresh mountain air while enjoying marvelous views of our meadows and the Green Mountains or relaxing in our poolside teahouse.
Crisanver House has spectacular unobstructed views across a pleasant green valley and beyond for many miles. The Green Mountains rise to the clouds in an ever changing panorama of beauty and remarkable sunsets. Our views are considered to be among the finest offered by any Vermont Inn.
The bright sunfilled conservatory is a favorite place for guests to read or play games.
The Marcy suite has twin beds with pull out sofa bed in the other room.
Enjoy the spacious Gren room by the fire or having a cup of tea.
A circle of chairs set in the front lawn for an intimate wedding ceremony
Poolside teahouse covered in the first snow of winter.
Crisanver House compound in the midst of the 120 acre retreat.
The Millennium barn dressed for a wedding reception.
Two room Dorset Suite in main house, queen bed and large bath.
Crisanver's all weather tennis court has a beautiful view of the Green Mountains.
Select Registry plaque by the main entrance to the Inn.
When sitting on the porch enjoying a cup of tea you have a marvelous view of the gardens and the Green Mountains in the distance.
The Killlington room has a queen bed and bath with a view of mountains and tennis court.
Enjoy a fire while reading or visiting with other guests in the living room.
The Pinnacle room with queen bed, bath and great mountain view.
A Dutch pancake is a great way to start your day. Superb with Vermont maple syrup.

    Amazing place, wonderful hosts

    September 27, 2012

We spent in this B&B 3 nights in late August, 2012. We had found the place on-line and liked the pictures of the location; outdoors pool; comments of other reviewers. What we saw when we actually arrived there exceeded all expectations... Below is a short list of our impressions. 1. The outside area is huge, and is beautifully maintained. Reminds of a park belonging to British Royalty 2. Everything inside is expensive and tasteful - rooms, renovation, furniture, dishesh, etc. You could tell that this B&B is a labor of love more than a business enterprise 3. The hosts are truly wonderful. We took great pleasure taking to Carol, eating her breafast and dinner (food quality is of a trained chef) and sipping Michael's home-made limoncello. The service lady was also very friendly and nice 4. The place provides unparalleled tranquility. We were lucky: during our stay only 2-3 rooms were taken (out of 9), and we felt almost alone in this great mansion. We watched sun-set from the porch; chilled out near the pool; had a dinner 5. B&B has its own hiking trail in great condition; we took this trail two days in row, and loved it. Ask Carol for local restaurant recommendations, and a lake some 20 minites away from the B&B.

Once a year at Crisanver House

    September 21, 2007

We stay at the Crisanver House once a year on our annivesary weekend. This will be our 10th year. This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations and it just gets better every year. Mike and Carole have incorporated a dinner meal. Needless to say, Carole is quite the cook, serving delicious breads, salads and entrees. Did I mention the maple pecan scones!!!!! They are my favorite!!! We will continue to visit this wonderful B&B for many years to come!!!
