Located in the apple orchard countryside of the Lake Champlain valley, The Shoreham Inn has been welcoming travelers for over 200 years. Built in 1790, The Shoreham Inn is situated on 5 acres in this village center location. Come experience the owners English/Irish twist in these cozy yet modern surroundings. Our British Gastropub is open Thursday - Monday evenings and serves local food, beer and wine in a style we call contemporary comfort food. Near Middlebury, Lake Champlain and Fort Ticonderoga

My husband sent me a text on Thursday and said "Let's go somewhere this weekend". Last minute reservations are not always the easiest to find; usually they are way too expensive or very low quality or won't take a one night stay. I got lucky and found the Shoreham Inn had a suite in the Sheep Barn available. A little more than I planned to pay for one night, but last minute beggars can't be choosers so I booked. And were we glad I did. Molly was such a sweetheart the entire time we were there. The Sheep Barn Suite was so beautiful and comfortable with the king size bed in the loft area! We only went downstairs to go outside or to the bathroom. The Gastro Pub is FABuLOUS! Dominic serves such wonderful food and Molly the ever patient bartender/hostess/waitress (try the cosmo or a screwdriver!). We wished we could stay a month! Breakfast on Sunday was oh so good, and being greeted by Pippa the Inn Dog was a delight. Molly/Dominic we will definitely be back. Thank you. Cliff and Marty

Excellent Inn - was on our bike tour around Lake Champlain. It is an old, old Inn and has wonderful charm. Judging by the crowd in the restaurant this is the place to eat in the area. The Inn Keepers are very personable and friendly and made us feel at home. Wonderful dinner and breakfast.

The Shoreham Inn was one of the inns on our bike tour of Vermont. After a long day of riding we were greeted at the inn door by Molly and made to feel welcome right away. There was a place for our bikes (with tire pump available) and a pub right at the inn. The pub is a town meeting place (something i believe it has been since the inn was built many years ago) with great food and history. You really feel like at any moment the stage coach will be arriving. The room was wonderful and made you feel like you were back in time but with all the modern touches. The Shoreham Inn was on of the best inns on our week long bike tour.

The restaurant and tavern are popular with local residents. Dominic is an excellent chef and fills the menu with tasty well priced items. On a recent night my wife enjoyed tasty rustic chicken while I had blackened tofu, balsamic rice and garlic sauce. The banoffi pie was outstaning. Shoreham is a pleasant, small town. historic Fort Ticonderoga is a short drive by way of the Lake Champlain ferry.
