The Inn At Rutland

The Inn at Rutland is a distinctive mansion (circa 1889), which has been carefully renovated to provide 8 richly appointed guest rooms, some with fireplaces or air jetted tubs, all with private baths, remote color televisions, and direct dial telephones. All of our rooms also have air conditioning and WiFi. Each room has been detailed to include the amenities expected by the discriminating traveler, while maintaining a Victorian ambience. The interior is rich with period architectural details, such as the warm leather wainscotting in the dinning room and the leaded glass window over the formal grand staircase. Our two common rooms offer a comfortable atmosphere for reading, or just sitting by the fireplace. A gourmet breakfast is served in our formal dining room, and is included with your lodging. Relax on the front wraparound porch and take in the great views. We are close to all Vermont attractions, and within walking distance to fine shopping and restaurants. The Inn has a carriage house for bicycle and ski storage for our guests. We are only 12 miles to Killington and Pico ski areas, some of the finest skiing in the East.
