The Four Columns Inn is a stately Southern Vermont bed and breakfast manor in the lovely town of Newfane, VT. Built in 1832 to reflect the grace and style of a southern mansion, our Vermont luxury inn boasts a stream and ponds on 150 beautiful wooded acres. Wander the expansive grounds of our Newfane inn on gorgeous walking trails, enjoy our outdoor swimming pool, or relax in our lovely gardens. Our Southern Vermont inn features 15 stunning rooms and suites, 11 with fireplaces and many with two-person Jacuzzis or deep soaking tubs. Take I-91 into Vermont and get off at Exit 2. At the end of the ramp, turn left and head into Brattleboro. Follow approx 2mi to T intersection with Main St. Turn left (north) and follow signs to Rte 30 N...from here it is 12 miles to Newfane on Rte 30. In Newfane center, there is a village green on your left with a large four-columned courthouse. Bear left at the flagpole on West St - our driveway is just behind the courthouse.

We loved our stay at the four columns going in winter they helped us plan a sleigh ride and it was wonderful. The service,food and accommodations were wonderful. It is in a very picturesque area and was a very restful vacation which is what we were lookig for. We highly recommend it.

Stayed in a suite in the main house and the room was beautiful with a two sided fireplace. Ate both nights in their dining room and one meal was a chef's tasting. The food was excellent as was the service.

I booked this room at the very last minute--the day before our arrival. It was a last-minute getaway for my boyfriend and me before his deployment overseas. Naturally, I wanted it to be romantic (i.e., fireplace, large bathtub, etc.) and had several questions prior to booking, all of which Debbie had so much patience in answering. Complimentary early check-in was offered when I said that we were trying to beat an impending snow storm. Bruce gave us a tour when we arrived along with a brief history of the inn and the property, and he made himself accessible while providing the utmost privacy. The room was AMAZING (understatement) with a double-sided fireplace and spacious jacuzzi tub fit for two. Not only did the Bruce and Debbie meet our expectations, but the entire experience far exceeded our expectations on every level. We stayed for just one night but very much look forward to returning when my boyfriend returns home safely. Thank you!

My husband and I spend three mid-week nights at the Four Columns Inn, and we were so please with our stay. We arrived in the middle of a blizzard, and the Inn was warm, ready and waiting for us. Deb & Bruce are some of the most down to earth inn keepers you'll ever meet. We enjoyed a Chef's Tasting dinner one night and a regular dinner another night. Both meals prepared by Chef Park were exquisite with unique foods and flavors. Our server, Bob, was super friendly and paid great attention to detail, making sure our dining experience was perfect. We stayed in suite 12, a roomy and beautiful suite. The double sided fireplace was a nice cozy feature that we loved during our snowy Winter stay. There are plenty of beautiful little towns and amazing views to see nearby, or you can enjoy a lovely snowed-in day like we did, drinking fresh warm coffee by the living room fire. We can't wait to visit the Four Columns Inn again during the Summer for a whole new experience.

My partner and I stayed at the Four Columns Inn this past week and had an amazing time. It was relaxing and romantic. The service is incredible as is the food at their fantastic restaurant. The entire location was clean and beautiful. Not far from downtown Brattleboro as well and Manchester for shopping. It's a very quaint and lovely area. I highly recommend The Four Columns Inn for a relaxing and romantic getaway!
