Located in the heart of the Mad River Valley, just minutes from the Golf & Ski Resorts of Sugarbush, Mad River Glen and Stowe. We are an ideal location next to the historic New England villages of Warren and Waitsfield. Minutes to all the wedding venues of the Mad River Valley, and the dining, nightlife and shopping of Waterbury, Stowe & Montpelier.
As you return from the day’s events, you will find soft candle lit rooms and classic jazz. Your beds are turned down, and the crisp luxury scented linens are dressed with rose petals & Ghirardelli chocolates from San Francisco are on the pillows.
Breakfast is an Event! We are known for the superior culinary presentations that come from our country kitchen. Just the size and scale of our exquisite breakfasts have our guest's running back to their rooms for a camera. We believe you would be hard pressed to find such a complete and generous breakfast in the valley. Our signature dishes include Belding Beignets, Blueberry Mascarpone Pancakes with Baked Apples A La Mode, Pumpkin and Orange Spiced Waffles with Apple Sausage, Swedish Cinnamon-Rice Cakes with Fresh Blackberries and Peppered Bacon, and Crème Brule French Toast served with Warm Doughnuts Banana's Foster to name just a few. Breakfast is always accompanied with candle light, soft jazz and great conversation.
Our afternoon snacks are not to be missed. Gingerbread Crème Brule, Cognac Mousse with Raspberries and Apple Tart with Almond Custard. From our Pumpkin Cheesecakes to our famous “Killer Bread” & Hot Sausage hors d'oeuvres; The Belding House is an epicurean delight. Welcome Home.

We also provide courtesy shuttle service to and from the Waterbury Train Station with service to all major east coast cities aboard Amtrak’s Vermonter.
Northbound Directions – From Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut & New Hampshire. Travel Northbound on I -89 to exit 9, Middlesex & Moretown.
Travel South on Route 100b following the signs to Moretown, Waitsfield & Warren. 1 mile South of Moretown Village turn right onto Route 100, following the signs to Waterbury & Stowe. Travel Southbound on I-89 to exit 10, Waterbury. Follow the signage on Route 2 East to Waitsfield & Warren. Just past Waterbury travel South on Route 100 following the signs to Waitsfield & Warren. - Deposit amount required (The equivalent of one night’s stay or 50% of the total reservation (whichever is greater) is due by credit card at the time of booking.)
- Check in time is 3:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am
- Cancellations:
All deposits are refundable, less a $25 processing fee per room, up to 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date. A 30-day cancellation notice is required over foliage and holiday periods.
