The Candlelight Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully restored 1850s farm house. Located in the heart of the Green Mountains. Rooms are decorated with art, period furniture, antiques and reproductions. Guests enjoy spacious bedrooms featuring private baths and romantic fireplaces with morning aromas of homemade muffins and a delicious country breakfast. We are near the Appalachian trail and the VAST ski mobile trail system. We are four miles from Lake Whitingham and fifteen miles from the Mount Snow ski and golf course, a true four seasons resort area.

    • Limitations on children staying (Bed & breakfasts are more suitable for adults.)

    • Consumption of alcohol is permitted
    • Deposit amount required ($50.00 deposit per night.)
    • Check in time is 2 pm and Check out time is 11am
    • Cancellations:
      Please notify us in advance. We will need to have time to rent your room to be able to refund any deposits.

      Both Peter & Fran are retired school teachers. Now besides being owners and operators of the Candlelight they ski canoe and hike. Peter enjoys running as well and uses the workshop for painting and furniture making. Fran enjoys photography and volunteers at the local school in her spair time. Peter serves on the local ambulance as a volunteer EMT.

Come join us; bring sweaters comfortable walking shoes and of course your camera.The Bennington room with kingsized bed, wood fireplace, and private bath, of course. Your romantic getaway overlooking the pond. Fall asleep listening to the night sounds of Vermont.
    The Molly Stark room with queen sized bed and fireplace. Molly would feel right at home although the t v hook up to a satelite dish.would be way ahead of her time. Bring a good book to read, and snuggle down in a comfortable quilt.
