Come and experience the tranquility of our 18th Vermont century home. This historic inn has spectacular views and is located on over 3 quiet, off-highway acres 12 miles north of Stowe. The inn is surrounded by gardens in the summer, and you may enjoy strolling through the woods behind the inn. There are two covered porches and a three-level deck on which to relax. All of the rooms have private baths and views of the Green Mountains, the forest and gardens, or both. The suites have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, and butlers kitchens. If the weather is not amenable for outdoor relaxing, you can read or play games in the living room or parlor or watch a movie from our 200 tape collection in the TV room. We want you to make yourselves at home. Come and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life, or just rest up after a busy day enjoying Vermont’s wonderful outdoor activities and shopping. Questions? Give us a call or drop us an e-mail. We would love to hear from you!

We loved our stay. I know we'll be back. Our daughter and son-in-law and grandbabies live in VT and we miss them terribly. We had Thanksgiving with them and celebrated the babies 1st birthday. We received a discount for visiting family which was a nice surprise. Julie and John made our stay so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as was our room (we were in the Massachusetts room). The B&B was very clean, warm and welcoming. It was so cold outside but the wood stove inside was wonderful. A must stay! Julie and John are great people. They love their home and you can see the care they put into it. Kim and Ken from MA

The surrounding countryside is gorgeous especially in the fall. The room was very spacious (not always true at B & B's.) Food was fresh and plentiful, and the service was friendly but not intrusive.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn just as the leaves began changing in the area. We found lots to do within just 10 miles of the Inn. John and Julie are professionals at hospitality. Our room was large, comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. It was nice to have a bathroom with lots of space. My wife is still missing the comfort of our bed at the Fitch Hill Inn. Mornings were an event to look forward to. The breakfast's would best be described as gourmet with all local fresh ingredients. They are so plentiful, you may not need a lunch on any day of your stay! This inn is well worth the drive north from Pennsylvania.

We were very pleased with the service and amenities of Fitch Hill. Small flat screen TV is hard to see from across the room (which is rather minor). Our daughter and son in law stayed here also. She booked one their nights by the wrong date (online) so ended up paying for a night they were not there and we paid $40 extra to have them stay in our room for one night. Wish they would have not charged us the $40 as our daughter paid for a night they didn't use the room. That being said, our stay at Fitch Hill was very accommodating and Julie and John were easy to communicate with.We found the Inn exceptionally clean and refreshing. The breakfasts were very good and obvious Julie put time and thought into making each day different and very tasty. Would highly recommend it.... J and V from Phoenix, AZ.
We did not learn that the daughter had booked the wrong nights until 3PM (check-in time). Unfortunately, we have to count this as a no-show and, and, as is fairly standard in the industry, we charge for that night because it is lost revenue otherwise. The weekend in question was one of the busiest of the summer, due to a number of large events happening in the area. Fortunately, the parents had booked a suite so there was room for the daughter and her husband on a busy Saturday night. The $40 charge is our standard for adding two people to the room. With online bookings, the guest booking the room is responsible for getting the dates right since we, as innkeepers, have no idea about your plans. We are glad we were able to accommodate the daughter a second night and the family was able to stay together for the weekend.
