Come and experience the tranquility of our 18th Vermont century home. This historic inn has spectacular views and is located on over 3 quiet, off-highway acres 12 miles north of Stowe. The inn is surrounded by gardens in the summer, and you may enjoy strolling through the woods behind the inn. There are two covered porches and a three-level deck on which to relax. All of the rooms have private baths and views of the Green Mountains, the forest and gardens, or both. The suites have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, and butlers kitchens. If the weather is not amenable for outdoor relaxing, you can read or play games in the living room or parlor or watch a movie from our 200 tape collection in the TV room. We want you to make yourselves at home. Come and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life, or just rest up after a busy day enjoying Vermont’s wonderful outdoor activities and shopping. Questions? Give us a call or drop us an e-mail. We would love to hear from you!

5 out of 5Best B&B We Ever Stayed At...
March 22, 2013
We loved everything about this place, from the hot apple cider and cookies waiting for you when you arrive, to the beautiful fireplace and warm cozy rooms. Our room was spotless, including the bathroom and shower. The flat screen TV on the wall was great. The bottles of water and all the toiletries was also very nice. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious from the abundance of warm home-cooked muffins, to the blueberry french toast. The innkeepers were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Vermont!

We were very impressed with the Fitch Hill Inn. Our room was very nice, bedding is a little dated and the bathroom was remarkably small! Other than that it is exceptionatly clean and all of those little extras are thought of for you. Love the cookies/tea/apple cider that is left out for guests. There is coffee and a keurig coffee maker available at all times. Little toiletries for those of us who always forget something. The common rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was very good - moderate in terms of amount, but I loved the ability to pick a time to eat. This is a very nice place and an excellent value.
5 out of 5A great B & B!

A lovely place, with every amenity one could want and then some (bottled water, cream sherry, freshly baked cookies, tea and coffe available anytime, etc). Comfortable, quiet, with a delicious breakfast. Innkepers very helpful and efficient. One really couldn't ask for more in a B & B!

5 out of 5Stay here!
October 30, 2012
This appealing "doll's house", full of history and charm, is an absolute gem. Whilst travelling around New England for more than a month and staying in over a dozen B&Bs this one shone because of the obvious and genuine desire of the inn-keepers to "spoil" their guests with their extra care and hospitality. The bedrooms are absolutely lovely with their antiques and hand-made patchwork quilts and the whole house is warm and inviting. There is a wonderful breakfast awaiting you every morning and hot spiced cider and "just out of the oven" cookies in the afternoons. Bliss!
5 out of 5Country Comfort
October 24, 2012
I stayed at the Fitch Hill Inn for 3 nights in the New Hampshire Suite. I was looking for a place where I could relax and de-stress after daytime sightseeing and the Inn was perfect for that. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Stowe and very quiet in a country setting. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. There was a gas stove for ambiance and warmth. I also enjoyed the large whirlpool tub. There is a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishes, and coffee maker which allowed me to bring dinner back and eat in the room. Every amenity was provided for my comfort in the room as well as bottled water, tea, coffee, & hot chocolate. John's breakfasts were excellent. I spent a lot of time conversing with Julie...she is a warm and friendly host. Fitch Hill Inn is everything a B & B should be.
5 out of 5Best B&B we stayed in to date
October 19, 2012
The hosts, Julie and John were very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them. The room was excellent, down to the soft inviting bed to the microwave to the small refrigerator. The whirlpool was divine. Breakfast was terrific and very nicely done. The room where we stayed was very cozy. I highly recommend the Fitch Hill Inn for anyone looking to have the perfect B&B experience.

We stayed in the Massachusetts room for Columbus Day weekend. Julie and John were great hosts, breakfast was delicious, and the room was both comfortable and clean. I'd absolutely recommend this inn to a friend.
