We have stayed at the Lake Salem Inn on several occasions and have always had a great experience. The Sunrise view from their rooms in the outbuilding are super. We have also stayed in the Library room in the main house and it is splendid. Our hosts Mo and Jo are warm and friendly and breakfast each day was a special treat. We also took advantage of their dinner menu and it was great. We highly recommend the Lake Salem Inn summer winter or fall.

We were looking for an inn that not only looked clean but smelled clean. Most inns smell of air freshners (to hide odors?). None of that here. Our room was delightful. The bed very comfortable. Attention to detail was evident. The lake was great for our kayaking and a dip. Breakfast delicious and dinner devine. We will be back, sooner rather than later.

We stayed here both in the summer and the winter. This is a special place. The innkeepers are warm and real. You could eat off the floor the place was sooooooooo clean. Romance, great food, comfortable, beautiful surroundings. Don't miss this inn! Dinner was excellent! The lake wonderful as well as the sunrises. Skiing is only about a 25-30 minute drive and you can purchase discount lift tickets! Yankee Magazine voted this inn as a place to stay. This is our home away from home. Thank you Mo & Joe for your hospitality.
