Inn at Baldwin Creek

  • Inn Details

The Inn at Baldwin Creek combines the warmth and charm of our historic Vermont farmhouse with the passion of local food. Our five cozy guest rooms surround you in simple, relaxed comfort and our renowned dining room, Mary's Restaurant, guarantees your meals will be focused on local products, including vegetables and herbs directly from our extensive gardens. All bedrooms feature queen or king beds with luxurious linens and down comforters. Two of the Inn’s rooms offer gas–fired wood stoves to ward off the winter chill and to set the romantic mood year around. All rooms have private baths, some with claw foot tub and one with whirlpool tub. Room amenities include fluffy bathrobes, shampoo and soap, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, alarm clock radio, WiFi and air conditioning. A self-service coffee/tea station and a television for guests in the sitting room. Nestled at the base of the Green Mountains, only thirty minutes from Lake Champlain and Burlington, Baldwin Creek is ideally situated for limitless activities between meals. From hiking the Long Trail to boating on Lake Champlain, guests who love the outdoors find everything close by. And many excellent museums and shopping can easily fill those rainy days. But certainly the food at Baldwin Creek is what pulls guests back year after year. "A visit to Vermont without a visit to Mary's is like going to Paris and missing the Eiffel Tower", Vermont Magazine. "One of the top ten restaurants in the country for a leisurely holiday brunch", USA Today.

Stayed two nights in the tree house, and left with the most memorable B&B experience. What a picturesque farmhouse nestled in the foot of green mountain, classic white main house, red barns with white trims. Waking up in the morning with gorgeous foliage view through the bedroom window, and breathing the crispy fall air. We appreciated some interesting furniture selected for the tree house (e.g. the small antique desk and chair, the rock chair, the bench), and loved how a real porcelain sink made us feel (nice !!). Amazing house salad, delicious breakfast.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Inn. Loved sitting on the front porch listening to the creek and watching the hummingbirds. Of course the meals were outstanding. Wish I lived closer to enjoy Mary's more often. Would recommend the Inn and Mary's to all my friends. Thanks Linda and Doug for a wonderful time. Joanne Pfeifer

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. It was our 2nd time there. Everything was perfect. We had dinner there both nights and the food and service was excellent. We loved the breakfasts and the everyone there was so nice. We drove from Long Island NY and it was well worth the drive. Chris and Tom McDonald

We attended the wine and game pairing weekend recently with our daughter and son-in-law, who have attended this event for several years. The entire weekend far exceeded our expectations, both in the hospitality of the inn-keepers and in the quality of the food. Potential guests would be hard-pressed to find a better value. And for people interested in the local food movement, time spent with Doug Mack, chef and co-owner, is guaranteed to be stimulating.
