The perfect gift for every occasion

  • The Garden Room is quiet and relaxing, with lovely west light.
The Cook's Room is our smallest room, but very sweet and quiet.
Our dining room on a winter's morning: Applewood burning in the fireplace, four-minute eggs, fresh fruit, homemade muffins, an this is just a simple breakfast!
Grab a book, relax by the fire. We'll bring you some tea or mulled cider...
The Teddy Roosevelt Room is our most masculine, even with its pink wallpapered ceiling!
Relax in our gazebo, enjoy a glass of iced tea, and see where the rest of your day brings you!
In rose season, the colors abound!
    The view from the kitchen.
    High summer in the garden!

    Quick Getaway

    September 19, 2012

My husband and I chose this B&B on a whim while on a spur of the moment getaway for our 5th anniversary. Let me say we were not dissappointed. We called after 6 that evening for a reservation and they were more than pleasant. After we stopped and had dinner and finally headed that way we realized we wouldnt' be there until almost 10pm. We called to let them know and it wasn't a problem at all. We stayed in the Garden Room and wow was it beautiful. Every room in the house will amaze you. the attention to detail is amazing. And breakfast... wow what can I say here? It was out of this world. Oatmeal french toast with sharp cheddar cheese and eggs on top. It was an explosion of flavor. The grilled peaches OMG!! The potatoes and mushrooms Wow!! And of course the apple smoked bacon. Awesome. We hope to go back again sometime. Very highly recommended :)

    A Beautiful Stay

    July 03, 2012

What a novel idea, a reading themed Bed and Breakfast! The room was beautiful (we stayed in the Garden Room), the owners were friendly and available, and the breakfasts were AMAZING! I wish we had been there later in the spring to see the garden in bloom. Real (not gas) fires and a jacuzzi tub for two made this the perfect romantic getaway. Numerous ‘small touches’ throughout the house made it friendly and inviting. A great, ‘Green’, place to get away for a while.

Readmore Bed and Breakfast was by far the most historical and amazing B&B I have ever visited. The house itself takes you back in time because of the beautiful preservation, and at the same time offers all modern amenities. The caretakers were wonderful, warm and inviting. The food was gourmet and delicious! The overall feeling of the B&B was relaxing and comfortable. My husband and I will make a yearly habit out of visiting Readmore, making it a part of tradition!
