A comfortable Victorian home within walking distance of downtown Barre, Maplecroft has three guest bedrooms - each with a private bath and a handmade quilt on every bed. Handy to both the statehouse in Montpelier and Norwich University in Northfield. Maplecroft was built in 1887 by granite magnate George Mackie. It is adjacent to the Robert Burns memorial and the future site of the Vermont Historical Society museum.
