The Deming House

Our stay at Deming House was a retreat to a more serene, slower-paced place. Arlington's spectacular views, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and our hosts' warm hospitality made this trip one of our favorites!

I have been to Vermont countless times in the last 33 years, but this is the first time I've stayed in a B&B. Thanks to the other reviews on this site, we chose The Deming House, and everyone was right! Rick and Kaaron are fantastic! Their home is beautiful, and they are so knowledgeable about the area. They recommended three different restaurants for dinner and all were amazing. Kaaron's breakfasts are terrific, and she's more than willing to share some of her tricks of the trade. Our next weekend getaway in Vermont will definitely be spent at The Deming House.

This beautiful, cozy bed and breakfast is not to be missed. The modern amenities, delicious meals set against the historic home backdrop is awesome.

My husband and I arrived with our parents and we were very warmly welcomed, including a much needed hug from Kaaron! We enjoyed our rooms, the food, Zoey, the dog, Lulu the cat, and wonderful hospitality!

Recently my husband and I spent a weekend at The Deming House in Arlington, VT. We have been to other B&B's in the area over the years and our stay here was wonderful! The inn is just lovely and Inn keepers Rick and Kaaron could not have made us feel more welcome. Every accomodation was provided for and the gourmet breakfast served each morning made us never want to leave. The Deming House is a a wonderful place to relax and un wind. The rooms are cozy and the fireplaces make it so warm on a chilly fall day or cold winter morning. Kaaron is a top notch chef and the breakfasts can fuel you for a full day of shopping in Manchester or being outside on a enjoying all that VT has to offer. The only thing that I would change, is to have a few choices for breakfast available and perhaps a small refridgerator for bottles of water, soda, etc. The Deming House feels more like a gorgeous home rather than a hotel and walking in the door, you are greeted by friends, rather than business owners. A true gem in Vermont!

We have stayed at the Deminghouse several times and always look forward to our next visit. Rick and Kaaron make you feel so much at home. We were a party of four adults in two rooms. B & B hosts were wonderfully friendly & helpful making us feel at home. The decorating is beatifully done in Georgian decor to include books on wars, cooking and tastefully dotted with incredible antique collections. We plan to go back SOON!! Vistors from N.H & Delaware

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Deming House for a long weekend when attending a nearby wedding. Anyone who has visited Vermont knows there is no shortage of B&Bs to choose from. After careful research we chose the Deming and are so glad we did. Rick & Kaaron were very friendly and welcoming, the area is beautiful, the inn was amazing and everything you've read about Kaaron's breakfast is true. We're already trying to figure out when we can go back, this time bringing others with us to share the experience. The Deming House is especially perfect for anyone with an appreciation for American history.

I found this B&B while searching the web 3 years ago, had such a wonderful experience that we've come back each year. The inn is located in a lovely area. The grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Each morning my husband and I woke up to the smell of something good cooking in the kitchen by Kaaron. The breakfasts she served were extraordinnaire and some were her own creation. Rick and Kaaron are friendly, down to earth people who have become like family to us. We look forward to next August when we can visit them again.

The breakfast are second to none. My mouth was actually watering after breakfast with thought of the next breakfast. The Deming House is warm and cozy and enhanced my vacation greatly.

The Deming House was outstanding and for a first stay at BB like the Deming house we will be sure to return!

Tucked away in a corner of Vermont is a surprising jewel of a B & B. Very unpretentious owners make you feel right at home from the minute you enter the house and make sure you are taken care of without falling all over you.
