This quaint inn seems quite removed from city life bit is conveniently located to visit Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. Will and his dad are consummate hosts. Breakfast is hearty and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

War Hill Inn was very quiet. The farm atmosphere was great. The food was excellent!!! It was just a short drive to historic Williamsburg.

We were 2 couples and staid in the washington cottage. It was a wonderful stay, the rooms are nice and the beds very good. The breakfast is very good. We only have 2 remarks to make : the fridge is really noisy and there is no electric kettle. Except that, it was perfect.

We couldn't be happier with this beautiful southern B&B. It was like a perfect picture of a painting you see on a wall - wishing that you were there. The grounds are beautiful and are on a working farm. Upon arrival we met Will, who gave us a map and a lot of helpful information about the area - places to see and eat. Will and his father, Dr. Lee, were excellent hosts. Breakfast was a hearty everyday and the meal was different each day we were there. I wish our stay were longer than 2 days. We stayed in the Jefferson Cottage and it was just beautiful. Clean and well kept. Couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Well worth the money spent, given you can easily spend that kind of money at an run-down hotel during the tourist season and get basically nothing. Having stayed at a several B&B's now, I have come to enjoy them much more and purposefully seek them out now. You won't be disappointed with this one! If we are in the area again we'll definitely be back!
