    Excellent little honeymoon.

    September 09, 2011

My husband and I stayed here in May 2009 on our honeymoon for two nights. He was currently out of work and we were looking for a nearby location for our honeymoon that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. This Inn is beautiful. The rooms were very clean, the service was good, and the little breakfast baskets delivered to the room with hot coffee and pastries were delicious. We explored the nearby towns but what really makes this place stand out is the remote location. There isn't a lot to do but it's quiet, quaint, and relaxing. The property has a pool and tennis courts as well as a small giftshop selling handmade soaps and other little trinkets. The on-site restaurant has excellent food and the onion soup was to die for. All in all, we plan to visit again sometime on our anniversary. It was well worth the money and the drive.

    Great unique place to visit

    July 15, 2011

What a quaint and lovely place to visit!! We had just a one night stay but loved the setting and the inn. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent as was the service. Kate and John were excellent hosts and we would have no problem in recommending it to others.
