Very nice place to stay. It's walking distance from the museum and in a beautiful neighborhood. Fellow travelers were interesting, everything was fresh and nicely presented. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Very comfortable accommodations; good food and beverage choices available. in a share dining/living room. This B & B is 2 blocks from a great Art museum and in walking distance to a # of restaurants and retail area. I wanted to get a flavor of the city of Richmond, not the suburbs and that is what I received.

I really enjoyed my stay at The One - a nice place to stay in the city, and so close to all my reunion events. Thanks for the nice variety of breakfast options that were available!

The One BnB provided a clean basic place to stay. Breakfast was simple. A few more options would have been nice.
At The One we offer a hearty breakfast featuring gourmet cinnamon rolls, a variety of mufins and pastries, fresh breads, english muffins, and bagels. You can also enjoy an assortment of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, breakfast ham, cereals, oatmeal, breakfast bars and yogurts. The Parlor refrigerator is always stocked with a variety of juices, soft drinks, bottled water, milk and coffee creamer and there is an assortment of complimentary snacks to enjoy, as well. We offer a wide variety of coffees and tea available anytime of the day. If there are special requests for additional items, we are always happy to provide them to our guests.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Cellar Room on Sunday 8/17/14. I can't say enough good things about this B&B. My first impression when I walked in the door was "WOW". The suite was spacious, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The innkeepers obviously know what they are doing and strive to make their guests stay memorable. I actually didn't want to leave. When you walk into the suite, you see the adorable kitchen. It was stocked with numerous snacks for all tastes and preferences. There were breakfast items in the fridge which included fruits, yogurt, pastries, breads, cereals, etc. There was a Keurig on the counter with coffees, teas, and hot chocolates. The living room area had comfortable couches and club chairs, books to read and a dish of chocolates. The bath had ample soft towels and face cloths, Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. The bedroom area had a small makeup table with mirror and lighting. The bed was decorated beautifully and very comfortable and there were soft robes for our use. Another thing that impressed me was the thoughtful addition of umbrellas in the event of rain, flashlight in the bedroom, an iron, and pretty much anything we could possible need during our stay. I want to say don't stay here so that any dates I might want to come back would be available, but that would be unfair. :) I plan to return as soon as possible and I hope that this suite is available. As a side note, don't miss eating at the Bamboo Cafe. A locals joint with fantastic food and good drinks. It was just down the block and across the street.

the one b and b, is gorgeous and very clean. i am a very picky hotel/b&b customer and i loved this place. cary town is very cute with lots of delicious restaurants and shops. Sean and Polly were available when we needed them, but otherwise we had the place to ourselves. we will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the Richmond area.
