This was our second time staying at The One and we enjoyed it as much as the first. We especially like the lounge area, featuring free wine and snacks, plus a very adequate do-it-yourself breakfast. The hosts are lively, and knowledgeable about the area.

We loved that complementary soft drinks and snacks were provided. Polly was a great hostess. Room was not too spacious but cozy, cute and very clean. Breakfast was diverse and very good. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a show at the Altria Theater and The One was in the perfect location. The room was exceptional and the parlor was wonderfully relaxing with music and snacks and drinks complimentary. We will definitely be back!

Had a nice stay. It's private, You get a code so no time wasting checking in. You can come and go as you please. Great continental breakfast and 24 hr, drinks and snacks, incl. beer and wine. It is the city, so there will be traffic noise and people on the street.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. It was our first little vacation together and the The One B and B was a great romantic setting.Polly was a very kind hostess and very helpful. When we returned to the Inn from our night out the complimentary wine was a great way to relax before bed.

We were in the Slumber Suite. Probably because it is close to the street, we could hear a lot of sound. Other than that, cannot think of anything else. Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the place. Great location and cheaper than a hotel. Also, if you are a jogger there is lots to see in the area. I'd go back again anytime.

Centrally located minutes from art museums, restaurants and shops in a charming residential neighborhood. A bit of traffic noise from our room, which was compact but satisfactory although I would have preferred a firmer nattress. The breakfast nook which is shared with 2 other rooms would be a bit crowded if all guests wanted to eat at the same time. Easy access with a key pad door code. Off street parking included.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of our property. We do live in a charming neighborhood that offers our guests an abundance of dining, shopping and entertainment options within walking distance, but with that urban environment comes activity and street noise. In order to minimize the impact to our guests, we have installed storm windows on the entire house and provide sound machines in all our guest suites. Our communal parlor is a spacious gathering area and very accommodating, including complimentary snacks and beverages. We were a bit surprised by your comments and rating, as we spent significant time chatting with you and your friends during your visit with us and the feedback you provided in person was extremely complimentary. We provided restaurant, shopping and tourist recommendations and invited you into our home to meet our boys, Marvin and Eugene, when we found out you were fellow dog lovers. If you had mentioned any concerns during our face to face conversations, we would have been happy to address them, as guest satisfaction is our highest priority! Again, we appreciate your response and time taken in doing so.

Ideal location in the Historic District of Richmond. Blocks away from the museum and Virginia Historical Society. Also, if you're into Halloween and have kids, you are only 10 blocks from Halloween on Hanover, which looked like it would be pretty awesome. Carytown is also just a short walk from The One. We had a great room with a bathroom in the room. Two of the other rooms had their bathrooms in the hall just outside the room. Breakfast was a little disappointing because it was continental style, so no hot food, but everything available was good and timely. Thank you The One.
