Holladay House Bed And Breakfast
A charming, 1830s Federal style Virginia B&B, the Holladay House provides an inviting alternative to a typical hotel stay. Luxury rooms with whirlpool tubs, a library filled with books, parlor games, full gourmet breakfasts, homemade cookies & scones and complimentary beverages. Only 90 minutes from Washington, DC and Richmond, VA, Orange lies in the heart of wine country and steeplechase races. Nearby attractions and activities include: Civil War battlefields, Montpelier (home of James Madison), Charlottesville, Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson), the University of Virginia (UVA), wineries, vineyards, fishing, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Skyline Drive, hot air ballooning, horseback riding and hiking/biking trails.

From Charlottesville:
Take I-64 East to the Shadwell Exit (Exit 124). Go East on Route 250 for 2 miles to Shadwell. Turn Left on Route 22 immediately in front of the Shadwell Store. After about 8 miles Route 22 bears off to the right but continue straight on Route 231 into Gordonsville. At the traffic circle (roundabout) go straight onto Route 15 North. Continue 9 miles to Orange. When approaching Orange, go straight through the 1st stoplight and straight through the 2nd stoplight. Go another one and a half blocks, and if you do not stop you will literally run in the Holladay House!
From Richmond:
Take I-64 West to Exit 136 (Zion Crossroads). Take Route 15 North into Gordonsville. On the other side of Gordonsville you come to a traffic circle (roundabout). Follow the circle to the Right onto Route 15 then follow the above directions.
From Washington, DC Via I-66:
Take I-66 West to Gainsesville. Take Route 29 South. Route 29 South will merge with 15 South. Keep following 15 South. At the third Culpeper Exit, take the Route 15 South Culpeper/Orange exit. Come to the second stoplight and turn Right onto Main Street. The Holladay House is one and a half blocks on the Right.
From Washington, DC Via I-95:
Take I-95 south to Fredricksburg. Take Route 3 West (Culpeper) exit. Follow Rt. 3 (appox. 10-12 miles) to Rt. 20 South, which will turn Left towards Orange. Stay on Rt. 20 until you come to a stoplight at the intersection of Rt. 20 & Rt. 15. Turn right, go straight through the next stoplight. The Holladay House is another block and a half up in front of the stop sign. - Nearest major airport: Washington DC, DC (IAD-Dulles) 60 miles

Take Route 28 South to I-66 West to Gainsesville (Exit 43A). Take Route 29 South, and continue following even when 29 South and 15 South merge. At the third Culpeper Exit, take Route 15 South (Culpeper/Orange) into Orange. Come to the second stoplight (Main Street) and turn Right. The Holladay House is one and a half blocks on the Right.

- Cancellations:
If a customer cancels 10 days or less prior to the date of check-in, the customer will be charged for each reserved night and room that The Holladay House cannot re-book. The Holladay House will make every effort to re-book the room so the customer can avoid this charge. If The Holladay House must discount the room(s) to book them, then the customer who cancelled will have to pay the difference. - Accepted by the following agencies:
