Breakfast was over the top. Room was so comfy and hot tub on deck was spectacular. Bonfire at night was most enjoyable. All the amenities were so thoughtful, including my birthday surprises. Barbara was so gracious and helpful. Wish I would have booked a longer stay; and hope to return. Can't say enough good things.

This was our first visit to Beaver Glen, but, it won't be our last! It was perfect in every way. Barbara made sure we had everything we needed and so much more , from our beautiful room to wine & cheese, snacks of all kinds, homemade baked goods, chocolates everywhere! Breakfast was amazing. The great room had fireplace, huge TV, books, games, puzzles, comfy furnishings. Just like being at home. The grounds are kept immaculate. We can't wait to visit it again and bring friends !!!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Barbara does an outstanding job for her guests including a delicious breakfast, afternoon and evening wine and snacks! There isn't a single amenity that I can think of that is missing! We loved the hot tub, swing and sitting in the porch listening to the peaceful sounds of nature! Amazingly!!

WOW! pretty much sums up Beaver Glen. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalaccia wineries. With only 2 bedrooms, this home is very cozy and comfortable. Barbara provides everything you need for your stay from unlimited homemade snacks, wine, cheese, coffee and sodas to luxurious bathroom amenities and plush towels. Breakfast is a true gastronomical experience. Both mornings we were served outstanding breakfasts that were more than we could eat. Beaver Glen is now our standard for a B&B. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful drive, only 40 minutes away, very clean and we will return. Our hosts were very kind and had made the Sage room a treat for anyone that stays at Beaver Glen. The extras were awesome and the breakfast delicious. There are many eateries close by but we chose to stay in. Wonderful for just a relaxing getaway for two!!!!

We’ve stayed in a lot of places over the years, and Beaver Glen hands down provided the nicest accommodations ever. The setting just off the Blue Ridge Parkway is lovely, but that’s only the beginning. Our room – with a king bed and spacious bathroom – was one of two in a large, lodge-like house beautifully decorated and complete with Wi-Fi, cable TV, DVD and VHS players, a stock of movies and books, soft drinks, snacks, coffee maker, and more. The place was just immaculate, and felt like home. Then there are the breakfasts, which were nothing short of gourmet. And if that’s not enough, Barbara and John Craig are absolutely the kindest, warmest hosts you can imagine. If you’re going to be in the area, do not miss the opportunity to stay at Beaver Glen.

We stayed at Beaver Glen last weekend with another couple and it was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The owners are friendly, laid-back and eager to please. Snacks and drinks were readily available everywhere we turned, the grounds were beautiful and secluded, and the rooms were immaculate. We enjoyed a clear night of star-gazing from the hot tub and look forward to sitting around the fire pit on our next visit. Barbara's baked French toast was so good that I emailed and asked for the recipe as soon as I got home. We highly recommend this B&B - you won't be disappointed! ~ Lisa & Russell

We stayed only one night after cruising the Blue Ridge parkway. Plum room was very comfortable and overall accommodations where clean and homey. Breakfast was fantastic. We will be back when we head out to cruise the rest of the parkway.

Having stayed in a number of B&B's, I can say without a doubt this is the nicest and most comfortable I have found. The location is one of rustic elegance with an eye for lovely detail, The wine and cheese which is waiting upon arrival and all the snacks which are always available are a lovely touch. Barbara's breakfast was ample and truly gourmet and she is such a pleasure to converse with as well. I look forward to an opportunity to return.
