A little slice of heaven in the mountains...

    April 29, 2013

Breathtaking - both the interior and the views. We were only able to spend one night and now can't wait to come back. Sunset on the patio, overlooking the mountains. The home was spectacular; Christa was a treasure; breakfast - sublime.

    Amazing Engagement Getaway!!!

    March 06, 2013

Christa, thank you so much for a most wonderful weekend! You were a superb hostess, and made our engagement getaway absolutely unforgettable. Your home and grounds were so well kept, with everything we needed readily available. We particularly enjoyed the engaging conversation and stories that accompanied your wonderful cooking during breakfasts. Your warm and gracious nature made us feel right at home, and we are already discussing when we could come back! Thank you so much for helping us enjoy one of the most important weekends of our lives! Take care, and we hope to see you soon! Eric and Abbey

    Perfect Spot for Our Elopement

    February 25, 2013

Christa, thank you again for hosting us this past weekend. Carlos and I had a wonderful time at your place. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our elopement. Thank you for the decorations, for coordinating the ceremony, for the pictures, and for your wonderful company. Even though we run away to get married alone, we felt like if we were with family. We are looking forward to coming back to Once Upon a Mountain really soon. All the best now and always, Ela.

    Wonderful Retreat

    November 05, 2010

This house (and view) were spectacular. The drive up to the B&B was quite an adventure - it sits on the top of a mountain. The view is well worth the journey. The innkeeper was super nice, and her two dogs were awesome. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wished we had stayed during a warmer time, when we could enjoy the outside portions of the property more. If you want peace, quiet and relaxation - this is the place to go.
