Inn Details

Ambrosia Farm Bed and Breakfast and Pottery is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwestern Virginia. It is half way between the town of Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 5 miles from two wineries, Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalaccia. The inn is a historic restored Appalachian log house with two new green built log cabins in a peaceful pastoral setting that offers beautiful sunset mountain views. Antiques embellish the interior. Wildlife abounds, and at any time you may see turkeys, deer and bears. A large cherry tree invites songbirds to nest nearby. Our own paint pony and cows mooing from the neighboring farm are occasionally heard while the subtle rushing of a nearby stream provides the backdrop for otherwise silent serenity. A spring on the property, once used for the needs of the farm, has been enhanced with a pleasant sitting area, offering the songbirds a place to drink. We conduct overnight art and adventure camps for kids and Italy tours for teens and adults during the summer and other customized art-related activities for all ages throughout the year. One innkeeper is a professional clay sculptor with a studio on premises and the other innkeeper is a professional energy engineer.
