Ivycrest Inn offers the elegance of a time gone by. The home was built in the early 1900's and is decorated in Victorian style, with antique furnishings and decor. All guest rooms have soft linens, TV w/cable, access to wireless internet, and complimentary snacks. A glimpse back in time, but still enjoy all the modern conveiniences of today. The Inn features 4 non smoking guest rooms. A full breakfast is served to all guests.
Room #2 EMILY'S RASPBERRY DELIGHT is of regal wines and purples with a full size bed and a twin size bed of rich cherry wood. This room shares a hall bath with the adjoining Room #3 and can be rented together or seperate. Great for family or guests traveling together. The bath that serves these rooms is a large bath with double vanity sinks, and a tub and shower combination.
Room# 1 SYDNEY'S SATIN AND LACE room is decorated in french inspired furnishings, with pinks and greens. The iron scrolled bed is queen size with memory foam topper for a great nights rest. This room has a private bath with large shower.
Guest room #4 is HANNAH'S COUNTRY CHARM decorated in a country pallet of reds and greens, complete with a Queen sleigh bed and private bath with shower.
Room #3 is RACHAEL'S COTTAGE RETREAT is a room with Queen high back oak bed and furnishings. A color pallet of rich earth tones provides a soothing atmosphere for a restful night. This room shares the large hall bath with room #2. These rooms can be rented so that you could have a family unit or private rooms....inquire for info.
A Grand piano for your enjoyment and special events, and is located in the music room/library, which opens to the large sunroom.
The formal parlor welcomes guests that want a quite serene place. This room has a woodburning fireplace and is a great place to sit and talk.

Ivycrest Inn "Winter Splendor"....visit us in the winter months and experience the warmth and coziness, as well as, special package deals. We are open year round and have a "Christmas Open House" each year.

Welcome to Ivycrest Inn B&B. We invite you to stay in a beautifully maintained Victorian home built in the 1900's. Nestled in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This beautiful home has been revived into a wonderful blend of old elegance with modern comfort. It is surrounded by a large yard and furnished in country french and victorian decor. Although reservations are preferred when possible, the weary traveler will not be turned away if accomodations are available. Consider Ivycrest as the venue for your intimate celebration. We had a wonderful stay. The BB was very clean,comfortable,& the Inn Keepers were friendly. Close to restaurants,and local attractions. We can't wait to come back,& stay!

My daughter and I had the best stay at the Ivycrest Inn. Jim and Linda are wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was excellent...we are already wanting to return for breakfast. Don't hesitate to stay here. It is very close to VT.

Our stay was fabulus! The rooms were clean, and the food was delicous! The innkeepers were very nice, and welcomed us into their home. I would highly recommend Ivycrest Inn to anyone needing this service.

If you want a quiet place to stay but still be close to everything, then this is it. This house is so sound-proof you don't hear a thing once you are inside!!! The beds are some of the most comfortable you will ever sleep on. I have fibromyalgia and usually am not able to rest when I am away from my bed. However, their mattresses and pillows are to die for! Not to mention the delicious breakfast. The portions are huge and the hospitality is divine. A must-stay home away from home.

We were the Fall Winners of the facebook contest that Jim and Linda had in 2012. What a blessing! We were welcomed just like "family". The rooms were beautiful and themed. The on suite bath was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a feast of Linda's Country Breakfast Casserole and Country Apple Dumplin's.. We will be back.
