Foxfield Inn is a modern bed and breakfast located in the rolling countryside of Charlottesville, VA. We are minutes away from the Blue Ridge Mountains, many great wineries, UVA and Monticello. If you are looking to getaway and relax in comfort look no further. We have 5 uniquely appointed guestrooms for you to enjoy - 4 with fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. All are located on the first floor (there is only one floor - no stairs to climb with luggage!). Enjoy breakfast in the Sunroom. We serve a three course breakfast ending with a small dessert (who doesn't like a Sweet Ending?). We source as many of our ingredients from local farms (eggs and pork come from the farm across the road - can't get much more local than that). Dan grinds coffee beans every day so you have the freshest coffee available. After spending the day visiting one of the three President's homes in the area, going to UVA, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains or sipping wine at one the nearby wineries come back to the inn and relax in the outdoor hot tub. Then head out to dinner at one of the area's many fine restaurants. We hope to see you soon! Your hosts - Dan & Kathryn Members of the Inns of Charlottesville, Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals and Bed & Breakfast Association of Virginia

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Foxfield Inn and we were treated to luxury and comfort as if we were royalty. Very charming and relaxing. We couldn't have been pampered any better. The massive in-room Jacuzzi was unforgettable and the gourmet breakfast was delicious. We will be returning later this year.

My wife surprised me by arranging a lover’s weekend for my birthday at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast in the foothills of Charlottesville, Va. The hosts, Dan and Kathryn even arranged a special birthday cake at my wife's request (with their own personalized birthday card). We arrived back at our room after a day at Monticello and there it was on the bureau. The addition of two wine glasses and a vase of fresh flowers just made me smile from ear to ear. Their suggestions for eating establishments in the area were right on and the special gourmet breakfast at Foxfield Inn started each day wonderfully. We stayed in the original master bedroom of the home (Dogwood Room) which provided a wonderful view of the back yard, wildlife and birds, not to mention the pond with so many koi and goldfish! Having a small refrigerator outside our room in a pantry area with cookies, coffee machine, cups, sodas and various fruit-based beverages certainly made our stay so much more comfortable. Conversations we enjoyed with the other guests as well as Dan and Kathryn will be fondly remembered for many years. Our intention is to return in the fall to celebrate my wife's birthday and the autumnal colors of the season.

Foxfield Inn is nestled in a beautiful location and more than lives up to it's claims. Inkeepers Dan and Kathryn Bundy are gracious host making you feel welcome and at home. Kathryn's culinary skills create a wonderful breakfast experience. Thank you Dan and Kathryn for such a lovely stay! We hope to return for another round of R&R in the future.

The day after our wedding, my husband and I drove over to the Foxfield Inn, and arrived exhausted. One fantastic evening and overnight in the Garden Room later, we were rested and relaxed! We loved the little refreshment bar and had cocoa and a cookie while sitting in front of our bedroom's fireplace to go over wedding cards. The giant soaking tub and bath salts helped us wind down for the day. Breakfast was 100% delicious and exciting, and you won't find nicer folks than Dan and Kathryn. If that doesn't convince you to stay here, this will: I'm a diagnosed insomniac, and I slept straight through the night. This bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the blackout curtains made it nice and dark. My only regret is that my husband and I were too tired to take advantage of the hot tub!! Next time!

We went to Charlottesville the weekend of UVA commencement, 2014 and the Foxfield Inn was an oasis of peace and calm after attending the various crowded events at the University. Dan and Kathryn helped us to find our way around the town, and had the UVA schedule of events and map of the grounds waiting in our room in anticipation of our needs. They managed to find us a last minute dinner reservation on the day of graduation (when everything is booked!) after our previous plans fell through. We stayed in the Hunt Room, with beautiful views and a bathroom more luxurious than any I've seen in an Inn. Would strongly recommend Foxfield Inn and hope to go back again.

Wonderful stay in the Hunt Country Room which had a gas fireplace, a very large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and a very comfortable king bed. Outdoor hot tub which we were able to enjoy by ourselves one night. Dan & Kathryn are excellent hosts and the food is simply amazing!! Very nice happy hour with wine and appetizers enjoyed by all the guests.

The rooms are gorgeous and the food was outstanding. There are no complaints about this place. Restful, serene and great advice for touring the town and historical places and wineries. We will return!

THIS B & B IS THE BEST! My wife and I celebrated a very special anniversary during our weekend at Foxfield Inn. We have traveled extensively and I would place the rooms, service, atmosphere and food above many of the most popular destinations we have experienced in Europe. Dan and Kathryn's hospitality made for a very relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay. There is a lot to do and see in Charlottesville and if you are looking for a quiet getaway, I strongly recommend the Foxfield Inn. Foxfield Inn is now our "go to" place to escape the madness of Northern Virginia.
The Dogwood Room is one of the original bedrooms in the inn. It is decorated in soothing tones of cream, gold, and greens, providing a comfortable, relaxing stay. It has marvelous views of our fishpond and 200-year-old oak tree in our park-like backyard. This room features a handcrafted, cherry, queen-size bed, sitting area with two barrel chairs, and Bose® CD/radio. The private bath has been completely renovated to feature a country-style accommodation including a traditional shower/tub combination.
The Hunt Country Room is decorated in creamy ecru & gold tones and features fox hunting and equestrian décor, making this room a favorite among horse lovers. Sparrows and wrens will entertain you at the outside birdfeeder. Room amenities - king size bed, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, Bose CD/radio with iPOD cable
The comfortable elegance of Rose Room makes you feel pampered from the moment you enter. The king-size bed with pillow-top mattress and incredibly comfy bed linens invites you to unwind. Sit in one of the chairs by the window and watch the birds and squirrels at the bird feeder or watch the antics of the bluebirds around the birdhouse. Or you could simply start the fireplace going and cuddle up while you unwind from your day.
