This beautiful Georgian Colonial sits on 2.5 magical acres overlooking King's Creek and the Chesapeake Bay.. Re-Discover yourself within the serenity and privacy of our little piece of Paradise here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Come and shop in the little stores of Cape Charles, where Andy of Mayberry meets Norman Rockwell and find out how it feels to help re-birth a small town in America, then come back to the Inn and sit on the porch with your glass of wine and watch the sun slip into the water and talk to an owl.

February 17, 2013
We had been to the Kings Creek Inn for a wonderful dinner this summer & finally got a chance to go back to stay at the Inn for a night. We already knew Kings Creek Inn was a beautiful, relaxing Inn & Restaurant with peaceful, glorious views from Kings Creek out to the Chesapeake Bay with a very interesting history. We walked into the Mary Suite, & I said, "We've found our home away from home!". It was heavenly! Dawn creates fabulous food, & Jim & Dawn are the best host & hostess ever- very warm, fascinating people. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend staying at Kings Creek Inn, & Dawn & Jim, if you ever get a chance. We will be back every chance we get! :) Chris & Kristy Malone Virginia Beach, VA

We absolutely loved the King's Creek Inn! First off, it is a GORGEOUS old home, the brick work and other details were wonderful! The interior is beautifully decorated to match the age of the building. All of the rooms that we saw were great! They've got the details down pat! We stayed here first and foremost, because we love beautiful old homes (especially ones on the water!!), secondly, for the convenience! The Inn has a restaurant/pub right downstairs! You can enjoy your evening, and not have to worry about driving anywhere! :) When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed by both Jim and Dawn, and given a brief tour- combine the beautiful decor with the amazing Kings Creek views, and you have a winner!! We started off in the Pub- they've got a full bar, plus a decent wine list, which was a plus for me! It's definitely unique- the full brick walls give it a cozy charm. The food was outstanding! This is a newer business venture, but the restaurant pace was starting to pick up- many of the "locals" have started coming in for dinner. As guests, we were guaranteed a seat, which was a nice bonus. I had the crab cakes, and my husband, the Filet. Both were great! You'll wait for your meal, but it's well worth it. Your dinner is cooked fresh once you order it, so order a bottle of wine and make yourself comfortable! Breakfast in the morning? WOW. Dawn made fresh homemade scones ( try the cinnamon!!) served to us while they were still warm from the oven, along with great coffee and fresh OJ, and that's just the beginning. The scones were followed up with fresh strawberry topped French Toast. I definitely ate more than I should, but Dawn is a great cook, so the extra calories were worth it! :) We had a blast this weekend, and will DEFINITELY be back!

The King's Creek Inn offers warm and accessible opulence in an authentic Colonial home (complete with an authentic English landlord). Delicious crab soup that could be a house specialty; comfortable beds and beautifully appointed rooms throughout the house; an underground tavern and billiards room with (of course) darts; water views and a private dock; and friendly proprietors made our weekend at this perfectly restored Southern Maryland Inn restful and happy. We are eagerly planning to return.
